It's hilarious that the Giants were way more upset with OBJ hitting a kicking net than they were with Brown hitting his wife.

The Giants are not alone. If you check out the OBJ threads/articles, fans here and elsewhere have expressed a lot more venom and disgust against OBJ than Josh Brown. Fans don't seem to be too upset about this. One fan commenting on one site dismissed the reports, adding that he believes the accuser is "bi-polar". There were a lot more disgraceful comments from fans but they are not fit to be repeated.

Quotes from Josh Brown:

"I have physically, verbally and emotionally abused my wife Molly," "I have controlled her by making her feel less human than me, and manipulated her with money" and "I have disregarded my step sons' feelings and they have witnessed me abusing their mother."

I feel sorry for him, his wife and the children. He may not work in the NFL again, which hurts the whole family. Also, he clearly has a lot of emotional and psychological issues and is in desperate need of help.

In most all of domestic abuse cases  the abuser seems like a nice person to the outside world.

Abusers can be charming and seem like a nice person to anyone they cant control.

Most abusers have the victim scared by either more physical abuse or the threat of hurting someone else loved by the victim.

This type of behavior is normally a cycle. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that Josh Brown was a victim of abuse himself.

By no means am I using this as an excuse for his actions, just the reality of a lot of past histories of abusers.

I am not an authority or specialist in this field but have worked with abused victims for over 30 years and I have  first hand knowledge of the effects of what abuse can do mentally to the victims.

The physical aspect of abuse can heal but the mental aspect never heals or is ever forgotten.
