Running back Eddie Lacy‘s season is over. Lacy will have surgery performed on his injured ankle, likely ruling him out for the remainder of the season. Taking his place will be running back Don Jackson who is being promoted from the practice squad today. 

 

 

That's going to be a big help for us when we play the Packers.   That actually was one of the things that helped us when we beat the Packers in Indy.  They didn't have any running game so they had to play one dimensional the whole way.

Man picking these guys to win the SB this season looks like a mistake now. Rodgers is struggling and now this. I fall into the trap every season picking the Packers to win the NFC LOL, picked them last season to face off against the Broncos before the season (I had Broncos winning it all though).

No wonder they traded a pick for Kniles Davis.  They must have knew Lacy's injury was more serious than what everyone else thought.

Knile Davis just got there. He doesn't know the playbook yet.

Only time will tell if it's as easy as the comment suggested.

I am well aware that Davis was signed. But Davis wasn't good enough to get any time on the field with the Chiefs so we will see.

That win last night still doesn't prove much. GB beat the crappy Bears with Hoyer getting injured (who cant beat the Bears - we even did) and GB looked lethargic actually in the 1st Half.

Lol, they may need a little time to adjust. But losing lacy should be no big deal unless their gm starts acting like griggs.

But i was more like saying if losing a fb type of rb is going to hurt your team much then their gm is putting a "griggs" on team.
