Thanksgiving Game questions

Hi all,

We are going to the Thanksgiving game at Lucas Oil this year... super excited! My guy is a true blue Indianapolis Colts fan. I have been a fan for the past two years, they were my first ever NFL live game too (raised in Alaska and had no chance of seeing a live game 'till i moved to Orlando). And i have gone to all of their games in Florida.

I am looking for advice on best things to do game day. Is there a chance to see of meet the player before hand? or be on the field? Any must see areas or events?

I was in Indiana last year but the one day we made it to LOS, they were not doing any tours

That's awesome!  You will have a blast!  The doors typically open 1.5 hours-2 hours before kick off.  Players do come out before the game.  There is entertainment set up near the stadium on game days.  A lot of people tailgate, the experience is a lot of fun.  I've been to 6 Colts games and have never met any players but I do see them out before the games warming up and what not.   The stadium is amazing!  I usually hit the Indianapolis Colts Grille when I visit for games as well.  I usually make a weekend of it.  I live in Illinois so I am sure most of these posters from Indy can give you some better advice!

Great stuff! I think you will love the stadium. Get there early so you can walk around and see everything. I haven't been to a game since 2013 but they usually let you in 2 hours before the game so that allows you to walk around and admire the stadium.

My post is as useful as our outgoing POTUS. I haven't been to a Colts live game since the last year of the RCA Dome. I live in Utah so I don't get out that way much  Was the Chiefs @ Colts week 11 of the 2007 season. So much has changed since then...I'll get out that way one of these days again
