Yeah, it is a sad story, a big price to pay for playing a game he loved.

 

Both Kurt Warner and Ed Reed have said that they wouldn't want their kids playing football for a living at the professional level. 

 

Hopefully Heads Up football initiatives and rugby style tackling (that the Seahawks have successfully implemented and are an elite tackling team) will all help towards less traumatic head injuries.
