Also for anyone who didn't see, Quan had a pretty great kick return.

Heck yes he did. Set us up for great field position and momentum right off the bat.

Good to see Luck sliding.  Not good to see the penalties in the red zone tho, need to cut down on those.

Who do you think will win that fight? I am not sure.

I'm hoping Diaz puts him to sleep this time, but Mcgregor will inevitably tap at the first threat of danger like he did last time because he's a ........:)

Back to the Colts........ Offense looked solid, defense looked good as well, minus the penalties!!!!! Let's get all the wrinkles worked out in preseason!

Yeh, no. There is no shame in tapping. Dumb to think there is.

I know it's preseason, but it'd be nice to limit the mistakes we're committing right now. That was a nice return by Chester. Too bad it doesn't matter.

A lot of costly penalties ( no better time than preseason). Besides that we are looking much improved imo

Read again, I didn't say there was. I said at the first threat. Yes Diaz had him deep that first fight, but the tap came quick. Mcgregor did the same thing the first time he was submitted in his other loss.

No issues on my end.

Hmm, dishnetwork seems to be having a problem with it.  It's just a black screen, lol.......  All other channels work fine, everything was fine then just bam.

Great job by Andrew. He's not forcing throws, and isn't being pressured. From what I've seen, the line has improved so far. Still not amazing, but better.

    • Ok Princeton tiger thought about yep whole coaching staff needs to go tomorrow.
    • Give me Jim Mora, playoff Marty Schttenheimer, and close game Mike McCarthy calling plays over whoever is calling the for the Falcons.
    •  Ballard has been talking to JB about McDaniels.  "According to the Boston Globe's Ben Volin, Ballard has been picking Jacoby Brissett's brain about his offensive coordinator in New England, Josh McDaniels."
    •   That's it, plain and simple. This roster isn't good because we haven't drafted well. And honestly, you can go back several drafts into the final years of Polian and see that this has been going on for a long time. It's mostly been masked by really good QB play. I gave Chuck and Co credit for keeping it together in 2015 when Luck was out, but they haven't done anything close to that so far this season.    Which brings me to the other issue, and that's the coaching staff. I'm really irritated with what's going on and what's been going on, but I'm not overwhelmed with frustration or anger because I fully expect a new coaching staff in 2018. Ballard seems to be the real deal -- almost everything I've disagreed with him on, he's been proven right. And I assume he'll hire a really good coaching staff. And of course, Luck should be 100%. I think things will be better moving forward, but there's no denying this year's group is basically stuck in the mud.
    • I’d consider Jim Bob Cooter (OC for the lions). He has been a huge factor in Stafford’s improved play the past few years. Prior to Cooter being promoted, Stafford was playing so poorly Caldwell actually benched him. Cooter came in and emphasized a short , quick passing game with occasional shots and it has worked wonders for the Lions offense. I am not a huge fan of Golden Tate (good yak ability but not a number 1 wr) or Marvin Jones so it is impressive to me.
