Sadly, you right.

But there's the "oh my god, the sky is falling" comments on the o line

And

Then there's the they are currently playing like crap but they can and are learning from it.

Let's see which one wins. Im.with you, it'll be the sky falling

Yeah, it's only pre season and all, but in years past our line has been bad then, and bad in the regular season too.

Does the rinse and repeat continue?

It has been particularly ugly tonight coming off of two weeks of dedicated practice.

Reminder:

Nice stat! We never win in the Pre-season, didn't with Peyton either. I hope TY is ok, haven't heard anything yet. He limped off earlier.

Dorsett takes a screen pass and runs right to the sideline....

Yikes.

He didn't really have a choice. Bills played it pretty good

I'd rather see him turn it up the field rather than surrender.

Not in preseason! This game is about practice. Some people forget that.

And what exactly is he practicing by running out of bounds?

Wow, a whole quarter without a defensive holding penalty. That's a first.

Butler has been getting beat so badly so far he's not really close enough to hold.

He's staying healthy. He's avoiding unnecessary hits.

Tolzien kind of sucks. I pray we never need him in the reg season.

Hasselbeck sucked so bad last preseason. He was serviceable. Then again, if Luck goes down, i'd rather a bad QB and a shot at Myles Garrett than 8-8 and a mid to late pick.

You gotta remember there wasn't any actually prep done

as far as gameplanning or anything like that. And Goodd new at RG and Kelly a Rookie center who's gottake adjust to making calls against NFL level defenses. He was seeing things he's not seen. It's gonna take some time for it to come together.

    • Ok Princeton tiger thought about yep whole coaching staff needs to go tomorrow.
    • Give me Jim Mora, playoff Marty Schttenheimer, and close game Mike McCarthy calling plays over whoever is calling the for the Falcons.
    •  Ballard has been talking to JB about McDaniels.  "According to the Boston Globe's Ben Volin, Ballard has been picking Jacoby Brissett's brain about his offensive coordinator in New England, Josh McDaniels."
    •   That's it, plain and simple. This roster isn't good because we haven't drafted well. And honestly, you can go back several drafts into the final years of Polian and see that this has been going on for a long time. It's mostly been masked by really good QB play. I gave Chuck and Co credit for keeping it together in 2015 when Luck was out, but they haven't done anything close to that so far this season.    Which brings me to the other issue, and that's the coaching staff. I'm really irritated with what's going on and what's been going on, but I'm not overwhelmed with frustration or anger because I fully expect a new coaching staff in 2018. Ballard seems to be the real deal -- almost everything I've disagreed with him on, he's been proven right. And I assume he'll hire a really good coaching staff. And of course, Luck should be 100%. I think things will be better moving forward, but there's no denying this year's group is basically stuck in the mud.
    • I’d consider Jim Bob Cooter (OC for the lions). He has been a huge factor in Stafford’s improved play the past few years. Prior to Cooter being promoted, Stafford was playing so poorly Caldwell actually benched him. Cooter came in and emphasized a short , quick passing game with occasional shots and it has worked wonders for the Lions offense. I am not a huge fan of Golden Tate (good yak ability but not a number 1 wr) or Marvin Jones so it is impressive to me.
