If as suggested, all Maggitt has going for him is a decent pass rush and little else as far as run stopping or playing in space then... lol

Not many pass rushers come into the league with a well rounded game. That's why he'll most likely be used as a situational rusher to start his career. Mathis had to learn to set the edge too so maybe he can help Maggitt in that regard.

He's an undrafted rookie so any contribution he makes will be excellent value.

I think Green at some point this year will end up starting to be honest.

I think perhaps you'll see him pair with Adams at safety in dime situations and Geathers shift down to dime linebacker. At least that is what I would try, get all your best athletes on the field in sub packages.

TJ Green can bring the heat on safety blitzes.

Ridgeway is a disruptive force in the middle. And we've seen how interior pressure affects a QB.

Our offense should be better equipped to sustain drives and that will keep the defense off the field.

We have a new Defensive coordinator who may be better at manufacturing pressure.

Henry Anderson should be back eventually.

All reasons for hope in our defense and pass rush. No need for all the doom and gloom post. We'll be fine

Not sure where the evidence that Green can bring the heat from.   He had one sack last year

expectations are too high for him right now

His speed and athleticism for one. And I saw him get pressure a few times in the film I watched. I think he can be used in various creative ways until he's proficient enough to take over at FS.

The negativity around here is WAY too high is what you meant.

I can see that too, but ultimately I think he'll end up starting because at some point Adams will probably get injured and Green will be forced to start unless we have somebody else in mind.

Right.  He was an impact player at Tenn. Just couldn't stay on the field.

So another in our long line of defective projects.  At least he didn't cost a draft pick.  Surely, just out of pure odds, one of these guys has to hit big one year.  Still waiting for it, as other teams seems to get UDFA stars now and then, but we don't even out of entire draft classes (2013 anyone?).

People ignore me every time I say this, but I think we might even get something out of Obiora. He moves really well to me and he's got good size at 6'4". 240lbs

Eze just got cut unfortunately

No. Not at all what I meant.   He played WR and the. Mostly as a return man.   Had 1 sack and all of a sudden he is a sack specialist??? He played 1 yr as a secondary player.

He won't even start.  You get that right?  Unless there is an injury. He will be a special teams player and a rotation guy on occasion

i can can see him returning KO or punts with Bray

I like Maggit.  The guy reminds me of Mathis the way he love to dip that shoulder around the edge.

Also, first time in a while, I can't find a bad overall grade for our draft by the pundits.  The worst I found was a C.  Majority are As and nonsense.  Yes not important in the grand scheme, but still nice to read!
