At #111 the Lions take Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas.

@21isSuperman Giants are on the clock.

@21isSuperman This confuses me.  The last team before the Dolphins were given Charone Peake who is after Alex Collins.  Shouldn't they have been given Collins and then Dolphins pick someone else?  I dont' care if it stays the same, but noting the issue just out of fairness.

This was done so we can give teams a more realistic pick.  The Rams have Gurley, so the chances of them spending another draft pick on a RB is low.  So teams are given the top ranked player at a position that makes sense for that team to get.

Giants select Willie Henry, DT, Michigan.

@NorthernBlue and the Rams back on the clock

Works for me.  Forgot about the rules and just used to whomever taking the highest rated guy.

A few early observations:

1. @OffensivelyPC and the Raiders would have an unreal pass rush

2. I didn't realize how many picks @chad72 and the Titans had in the first 76....wow

3. The Rams have 1 pick in the first 100...

4. In addition to their two defenders, the Cowboys acquired Adrian Peterson

Raiders were really able to hit their biggest needs and they really didn't need to reach for anything. Vonn Bell maybe, but I picked him over Keanu because I liked his coverage abilities and Reggie Nelson is a good all around safety who is good in run support. Heading into the 4th, Raiders were in a position to just take the best player, which, to me was between Ridgeway and Prosise, I went with the surer prospect, IMO.

Not be biased, but I really like the Seahawks draft. It's not sexy, but all four players could start because their offensive line is atrocious. Austin Johnson replaces Brandon Mebrane.

I like what @CheezyColt did with Indy.  Pass rusher, DL, OL in the first three picks and none of the picks were a reach.  Tretola needs some work developing his pass protection ability, but he's a monster in the run game.

Seeing how many picks the Titans have makes me a little nervous.  They have the ability to add a lot of talent to their team.

When you re-opened this thread, I was so confused that I thought we had a second draft going on at the same time as the pinned thread.  Took me a minute to realize this was last year's draft, LOL.

I had the Raiders and I did well in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.  Vonn Bell was one of the better safeties against the run last year.  He struggled some in coverage, but he wasn't the worst.  And for all the criticism (to the Falcons) of drafting Deion Jones he ended up being the best rookie linebacker per PFF.

Shaq Lawson ended up undergoing surgery so it's really hard to say anything conclusive about his rookie season in the snaps he did get.  Even if he's a bust, this draft class for the Raiders would still be a good one.

If you include the CJ Prosise pick in round 4 that we never finished, I think you've got a strong class pending resolution of Shaq's surgery and his return - and Prosise for that matter, but he looked good when he was in.

I would have probably given the draft a B+, but, despite the fact I hit in rounds 2 and 3, I would probably have to downgrade to a B or B- simply because I gambled and lost on Shaq's shoulder and Prosise, while flashing talent, also got injured.  In 2 more years, if both those guys pan out to be even decent contributors, and the injuries are not chronic, this is closer to an Grade A draft class.
