Maybe Casey Hayward ?

GB is pretty well set at CB and word is Hayward probably will test the free agent market. With the likelihood of the Colts not resigning Toler , that looks to leave a huge need for another proven CB. Seems like an awfully good fit ? Also , there was a lot of talk that the Colts were ready to use pick 3.1 on Hayward when GB took him 3 picks before the Colt's spot came up.

yeah I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Colts were interested.  Likely all going to depend on what kind of money he's looking for though.

I want Sean Smith or Janorris Jenkins, but I think it'll be Casey Hayward. We'll probably sign Casey Hayward, Jeff Allen, and Alex Mack in free agency. Then we could focus on D in the draft.

He's a slot corner. Like Butler, he isn't good on the outside. He'd be ok if we cut Butler but we'd still need an outside guy.

He played on the outside some last season.  Pretty well by most accounts.

He didn't look good when I watched him. He played out there when there were injuries but it was clear that Shields, Rollins, and Randall were who they wanted outside.

He's a decent man cover corner, i wouldnt mind him as a last resort if we arent able to scoop up someone more prominent than him.

Jenkins is young and consistent. Consistent being the key word. Smith is too and he's 5 inches taller, but I believe Jenkins is the better CB/fit for the Colts.

Janorris Jenkins

Trumaine Johnson

Casey Hayward

 

If we can get one of those guys we'll have a really good duo at the CB position. If we get Sean Smith we'd be pushing Denver for the best CB duo. My hope for defense this offseason is signing Sean Smith, trading for Kiko Alonso, and drafting Noah Spence, Karl Joseph, and Vernon Butler.
