That 95 ride was as memorable a time as any , including the Superbowls, for this lifelong Colts fan. Our team , except for a couple years or so, had been a laughingstock for years . The wins over SD and KC were as thrilling as any I can remember. Coach brought this team up from the ashes twice , in the 70s and 90s. News hit me like a punch in the gut. Rest In Peace Ted.

I was honored to meet coach about 15 years ago and he was such a humble and kind man.

 

His heart was for Christ so he didn't die, he was promoted to Glory

I talked with Ted at training camp before the 2000 season. Very nice gentleman. He seemed pleased that I even knew he was. A true class act.

He coached some good teams in the mid 70s during my teen years and felt bad he could not get the colts to the 96 Super Bowl. RIP Coach.
