Werner a healthy scratch against another team that runs the ball well. Can we stop with the notion the he is a good run stopper? I like the guy, but he just can't play.

I feel as if he's not a good football player at all. Sure he made some plays in the past here and there but he's shown nothing to prove he should be on an NFL roster.

I think it's about the cap hit and the embarrassment. First rounders aren't supposed to get cut. Traded? Sure. But when you cut a first rounder after 2 seasons (2 because he should've been cut this offseason) that's a bust. Especially after you just cut Richardson.

Part of me feels like they're just trying to save face. Watch them draft an OLB in the draft who is better and then cut him.
