Don't know what has gone on in practice, but I kinda felt that the loser of the center battle this year would be a prime candidate to back up all three interior positions.  Holmes is a smart guy who has been in the system three years now - why not try him out at LG?  Just a thought, but my first sense is that Louis wouldn't be on the roster if the coaching staff didn't think he was a decent back-up option.  I think it'll be Louis.

I see the Jets snagged a LB off the Colts practice squad replacing Coples.

 

The New York Jets replaced former first-round pick Quinton Coples with another outside linebacker, Josh Martin.

 

Also, Colts signed John Wetzel to the practice squad.
