Thoughts on the upcoming Bucs game [Merge]

I don't think the Colts have the luxury of falling into a "trap game".  They are working with a backup QB, and are well aware that they need to play their best and then some to be able to win.  Every game from here on out is going to be a toss up, until they are fully healthy and have solved their internal issues.

No such thing as a trap game with the roster being what it is (No Luck, No depth behind Vontae if he is out, An O Line that's upgraded itself to serviceable). Every game that we probably were supposed to win on paper(Though games are not won on paper) from here on out should be considered a good win and not "well it was just the Jags" or "It was just the Titans".

colts are probably feeling really good right now beating the broncos and falcons so how do you think they will approach the bucs game?

They are 5-5 and have looked lost at times getting to that record.  The idea of a trap game is silly - they know what they are and where they are in division.  The idea they lose this game because they are looking towards the Steelers' game don't fly.

Don't see it as a trap game. There are no more trap games on the schedule.

Colts have to keep improving every week, regardless of who they play. Clean up mistakes, penalties, etc.

Teams that do well in the playoffs are teams that do not beat themselves and peak at the right time. It could happen this year for the Colts. Anyone remember the 2005 Steelers? They went in as a Wild Card team and hoisted a trophy in January.

Goodness....

Why in the world would you think this is a "trap game"?????

The Colts and Texans are tied.    They have the same record.

And the Bucs are one of the HOTTEST teams in the NFL right NOW!

Basically,  we're in playoff mode right now.    And anything less than our best effort will get us beat.      Period.

As others have said, there are no trap games for the colts at this point. Anyway, I wouldn't feel all that great about beating the Falcons. They are in a nosedive and helped the colts quite a bit with the victory. I'm not big on style points, but realistically, the colts should be 1-2 with Hasselbeck.

The Colts are 5-5 playing with a back up QB and have looked really bad at times this year, any game could be a "trap game" for them. Honestly I think that might be the biggest problem of the Pagano era they are not consistent at all from week-to-week heck in some games it's half-to-half.

I think Matt stays undefeated. Atlanta is the number 2 defense in the league vs the run.

I think we have a better day on the ground. We use the same formula win time of possession and win the turnover battle. Win the game.

It won't be as easy but I think we get the W. That was a big win on the road. I think the momentum carries over.

Injuries could be a problem. I think Pagano has rallied the troops and we find a way at home.

Ditto. We're in playoff mode the rest of the season. We better be. Even if we finish @ 11-5.
