ColtsFanMikeC
Someone has to go. We're doomed if we roll back into next season with Grigson & Pagano both still here Honestly, we have been in pretty much every game this year. Self-inflicted wounds have killed us, and they almost killed us today (2 Hasselbeck INTs and another Frank Gore fumble). If there is anything that alarms me about this team it is the fact our OL was allowing Luck to get crushed (part of this is on Luck, too) earlier this year. The unit seems to becoming together, more recently. This problem, IMO, is on Grigson. We also have a lack of depth on the DL and in the secondary, and perhaps a lack of talent at LB, again (IMO) this is on Grigson. To Grigson's credit -- he inherited the worst team in the NFL and has completely rebuilt it (save Mathis, Vinny, McAffee and I believe Castonzo and Reitz). These rebuilds take time -- I think we should have prioritized the OL and DL earlier, but to Grigs' credit he did draft heavy on the OL a couple times and we are still waiting to see how they develop (Holmes, Thornton, Mewhort, Goode -- IMO all still have potential to be good in this league). If we turn it around, make the playoffs, and make some noise in the playoffs, I don't really see the need for either to go, so long as they are getting along well enough to continue working together in the future. crazycolt1
Someone has to go. We're doomed if we roll back into next season with Grigson & Pagano both still hereWhy does someone have to go? Pep is gone and now it is a wait and see mode. If the Colts win out or just have maybe one loss there is no reason to let any more go. You don't replace a GM because his team has one bad year no matter what you might think.

cjwhiskers
I don't see Pagano leaving. You can tell during his speech that Irsay and Grigson respect the hell outta that guy and know the players run through walls for him. He's still a realtively young head coach and look at that command he has of that locker room. That's the hard part folks, the football stuff develops better over time. You have Andrew Luck, young talented receivers and 1-2 good TEs. Plus a few young pieces on D.His job would basically be fixing the O-Line and giving Manusky some playmakers on D. Not a hard job. Well if the reports are true then he likes to have control and pick his own destiny so he's probably a fallout 4 kind of guy. It easy to sit behind your PC and talk about how easy being a GM is. If that is the case explain why the Colts have an equal or better record than 21 other NFL teams. Is the problem those 21 teams facing all on their GMs? You think GM's just grow on trees and he Colts just need to go out and pick one? I cant believe you think finding a top tier GM is just that easy. In your opinion exactly how many top tier GMs are in the league and how many are in need of a job? Linemen on both sides of the ball are in short supply this season. Could it be due to so many injuries taking place? Pagano looked like he loved it in full and is full of spirit. Doesn't look like a guy on his way out at all! Each time I see a post game speech from him, it reaffirms my faith in the man. He personally knows how to fight when the cards are down. Defjamz26
What are Irsay's ideals? And how do they conflict with Pagano?I feel as if Irsay wants a physical football team that can finally stop the run and run the ball. I think he's done with teams who are really good offensively but have a defense that doesn't scare anyone.I sometimes feel like Grigson and Pagano value high powered, aerial offenses. They hired Arians as OC who likes to throw the ball down field a lot. Then they hired Pep who basically did the same thing. Grigs has spent 3 thirds, a first, and a second on WRs and TEs.We've been hearing about building a monster since 2012, but we're seeing the same Colts from the Manning era: high powered passing offense, but soft defensively. That's why I feel the styles clash and someone might go. With how Chud is performing, it might be Grigs who goes.

NewColtsFan
I think it should be noted, that after Pagano's speech, it was Mathis who led the team huddle... And he broke it by saying...... "Coach on Three!....." Not "team" or "win" or "Colts" on three.... but Coach. Think this team doesn't love playing for the guy? Think again........ C0lts088
The team is playing for Pagano! And if you look since we've gotten Chud, we've been sticking to our philosophy of running the ball, even when it doesn't always work! Stopping the run...we've been doing that better than stopping the pass; something I thought I'd never say! Let Chuck coach! 2006Coltsbestever
After yesterdays win Chuck is winning me over more and more. Down 21-7 we didn't panic and stuck to the game plan which was smart. Yes it took that pick6 to help us out but the Defense looked like it was in the right position to make plays all 4th Qtr. I also loved the way we used Bradshaw on Offense.
