Why is no one mentioning Costanzos injury?

Today's win was a costly one between Castanzo, Gore, and Davis.

Davis' right hammy (concerning) , who would we use to back him up?  Castanzo would be brutal if it were to be really serious.  We have to eventually play the Texans and they would feast on that blind-side with all the pass-rushing talent they have.

Thomas / Smith would have to fill in for Davis....

If Castonzo is out were are in huge trouble for the rest of the season, never mind just the Texans...

Can't win the Texans game without AC or Davis. Those are the positions where we defend the Texans 2 best players in Watt and Hopkins.

And Hopkins just took a dump on Darelle Revis so we definitely need Vontae in for that. Hopkins is quietly becoming a top 5 receiver in this league.

When did Castanzo even go out?  I don't remember hearing about it or even noticing it during the game!

He re-injured it on 3rd and 2 on the quick-slant to Donte Moncrief for the BIG first down in the 4th quarter on the first play after the 2:00 minute warning.  It was a normal pass blocking play where he went back into protection fairly deep for Matt and fending off the end.  Didn't look like anything terrible at all and in fact you don't see him limp off or anything but the camera was focused on Moncrief even after the play so you can't get a shot of Castanzo's issue.  Then, after another play is ran where it is clear Castanzo is NOT in the game, Greg Gumble states that Castanzo is on the bench nursing a knee injury and he states that he "RE-INJURED" it.  So he must have gotten some information from the sideline reporter about it being "Re-injured", but not sure when he originally injured it unless it was a previous injury earlier in the season or a previous play in this game.

We couldn't run the ball yesterday even with AC. Credit has to go to Atlanta. Maybe we can hope for a week off at worst for Castanzo, Davis and/or Gore. If we're going to have a shot against Pittsburgh, we need those guys. Even TB presents a challange

Atlanta has the 3rd best run D in the NFL.

Falcons have a good run defense. Third in the league in yards allowed prior to yesterday's game. But our line made a lot of mistakes also.

MCL strain. Looks like he'll miss TB game, if not more. Management is discussing options. Listed as week-to-week

Well that sucks.  It looks like he's probably going to be out a few games at least.  Injuries are part of the game but man, the Colts have been getting hit hard lately.  Not as bad as the Ravens but still pretty bad.

sucks but so much better than a MCL tear. Hopefully it's only a couple of games that he's out.

If NE had to play an actual decent team right now they'd lose. They have really lucked out with their schedule this year. As of right now they haven't played a single team with a winning record. Denver will be a test if Osweiller doesn't crap the bed. They can plug and play like no other team in the NFL, but even so there is a tipping point. They'd get beaten by the Cards pretty handily right about now, IMO. Carolina would probably give them fits too, but their offense isn't nearly as potent as Arizona's. They've been on a roll but they've not played anyone of note, including us. We are .500

If this past game vs Buffalo was any indicator, Denver's pass rush is going to get to Brady pretty often. Buffalo needed to blitz, but Denver will be able to just rush 3 or 4 and get to TB early and often.

And yeah, if New England had to go to Arizona and play right now, I can't imagine they'd be favored.

NE would still be favored. I'd just about guarentee you. They always find ways to win, people wanna find ways to dis credit them and all that, but at the end of the day they get the job done. They execute and play smart disciplined football. They will have a game plan that they will execute and score enough to beat Denver. And you have to remember NE Defense is much better than people give them credit for and they can wreak havoc on Denver. Plus Denver offense is nothing special right now. At the end of it all, I definitely see NE clearly pulling this one out.

@Steamboat_shaun, Your profile pic is just amazing. Was wondering what game that was from, and its versus the colts. Peyton looks like he doesnt wanna play football anymore in that shot. Just wow. I mean, He could always come back to INDY as a coach/coordinator though.

Peyton as offensive coordinator, harbaugh as coach and gm. Super Bowl, here we come!!!
