I'm here to eat crow

I didn't think we could win without Andrew Luck. Well we are 3-0 without him. I'll take a few plates of crow, make it grilled please! :)

There are some other skeptics and pessimists on this forum who need to come get some of that crow plate too!

I feel a lot better record

I would agree.  I just better in-game adjustments by Chuck'zinski than I did with Pep at the offensive helm.

Mind you it's only 2 games, but we just look that much better on the offensive side of things.

In games past the D would come up big but the O would always falter.  This time the O came through in the end.

Lets keep this in perspective Hass isn't Andrew but having said that if someone were to tell me Andrew would be out for nearly half a season before the season started and we would be 5-5 and Hass 3-0 through 10 games, I would've looked at them and told them they are crazy. Proud of Hass and the team. Pagano is showing he can Coach too.

Yup I'm warming up a bit on Pagano. Not many coaches would be 3-0 with their back up QB.

honestly it's hard to ignore the fact that he could have that same impact later in his career but now not so much

I agree I like Geathers he's cool but comparing the poor kid to Bob Sanders isn't right. No need to be raising the expectations for him so high so early in his career

I didn't think so either. But to be fair... We only beat the Jaguars in OT and only because they missed a field goal. And that's against the Jaguars. But a wins a win I suppose.

Hasselbeck had more in the tank than I figured he did, although he turned the ball over a couple times today. I noticed he got the ball out real quick consistently against the Texans.

Some of you don't even deserve to eat crow with how bad you bash the team. You need to be eating Buzzard! The head, the feathers, and the feet including the claws....

Seems this has always been a normal with many NFL teams, including the Colts. I just don't think some fans really understand how tough it is to play this game at the pro-level for 16-19 weeks preempted by TC & preseason. Yeah, they make the big bucks for doing this. However, it's one of the hardest physical venues you'll find in ANY profession or sport.

I'll have some Filet with Wild Duck and whatever is expensive and taste great and filling!!!!!! Because for now I've been thinking and wanting Matt and thought we would have a better chance of winning with the old man with the fine aged wine!! Here's to Matt toasting the fine wine up in glass!!  And for Dessert I'll take some Luck with Bronco to finish everything up!!!

Got to clean up the turnovers tampa bay looks great right now.

Agreed. When you looked at the schedule at the beginning of the year, TB looked like a W for the Colts. Now, I'm not so sure. I think the Colts can still get the W but had better not turn the ball over like today

After years of Peyton playing every game, then the team falling apart when he missed a season, we were all skeptical when Luck went out.

This team is different, though. There's a mental toughness to them that surprised me.

I hope all this "fire Pagano" crap goes quietly away. He has this team playing above their ability, and I don't know what else you can ask from a HC.

Tampa is a weird team. They look great one week and then look bad the next. They played lousy vs Dallas but look like world beaters today against Philly. They are similar to Atlanta, inconsistent. Nothing is a given in this league as you pointed out. We have to play mistake free and solid Defense. We do that we should be fine being at home.

We are fortunate to have a Good backup QB as well. Imagine if we had Painter as our backup instead of Hass.
