He's not as good as I hoped for but will be a nice rotational player. Can't be upset with that for a 5th rd pick.

wrong idk if you've been watching but none of the OLB other than Mathis and walden have been getting pressure period..Mathis is on pitch count which is stupid..Werner and newsome are rushing the passer which is also stupid..Cole he's irrelevant he's good with the run better than the other two below him

A couple of them definitely were. Like at least 2 of his sacks he was completely unblocked last year. But I still believed he had double digit sack potential.

Dutton was 1 of the original HUGE defensive linemen the league had seen to that point.  I about died when he was basically given away.....

Dutton, along with Ordell Braase and Adam Vinatieri were all from my homestate of South Dakota. The Colts have done alright with these boys.

Not bad to get the players from North and South Dakota.  Some pretty good players are good from the bison too.    Neat to see the hometown boys/men and girls/women do well

 Although he didn't play for the Colts, I know one, for sure. who was born and raised in North Dakota and played at South Dakota State. All-Pro, Pete Retzlaff of the Eagles......With the tradition that the Bison have, there must be quite a few who have made the NFL out of NDSU.

I'm going to see what Manusky does to increase the rush. The concerning thing is not getting to the passer when its 2nd/3rd and long. That is what is fairly concerning. The short stuff u pretty much already know you may not get a sack.

The last time the COLTS had a pass rush was the sack pack Fred Cook. Mike Barnes. John Dutton and Joe( Eherman) not sure on the spelling. 

 

Loved that 1975 Colt defense.  Great front four.

I am disappointed in newsome  had high expectations brought on by his rookie performance hopefully mathis is mentoring him. Cole has been a disappointment so far but haven't given up on him yet theres alot more games to be played nothing exciting from him so far though. I think walden is a valuable asset to our team. I know his stats don't jump off the paper at you but he an instinctual football player and he is mean. we don't have very many mean guys on our team and I think we need to hang on to him I give walden a B+
