For the first time since 2009, the NFL experienced an entire month of no arrests in the past month of September. Or so we thought. Unfortunately, the almost-streak ended when Dorial Green-Beckham, the Titans rookie WR, was arrested on the night of September 30th for going 65 MPH on a 55 MPH highway.

I think he failed to pay a previous ticket which is why he went to jail, not for driving 10 mph over. The Titans didn't even punish him so that tells you it's not an issue.

I won't fault him too much. Obviously he should have payed his previous ticket. That being said, I drove back to my dorm this weekend going 87 in a 70 zone. Can't be hypocritical.

I would think it is sad for a NFL player to not pay a ticket when they had plenty of money to do so......but I've called an NFL player in an attempt to collect student loans.

Ridiculous. I drive over the speed limit constantly. 65 in a 55 is ridiculous to get arrested for. That cop was nit picking.

just depends on where you get pulled over. in marion (indy) county they'd let you go. any of the surrounding donut counties youd go to jail

"Green-Beckham was pulled over Wednesday night on Highway 60 in Missouri for driving 65 mph in a 55 mph zone, according to the report. The officer ran the receiver’s license and discovered an outstanding warrant for speeding in Osage Beach, Mo.

The 22-year-old was released after paying $92.48 to settle the ticket. He received a written warning for speeding Wednesday."
