We need to get Toler back. We should be ok today but he needs to be back Thursday. But yeah. It sucks that Andrew isn't going today, but I mean we are playing Jacksonville. Matt Hasselbeck can play well enough to beat the Jags. He's a quality backup. And this is the reason we have a good veteran backup too I may add. We'll be fine today. Luck will be alright. Its nothing major. And Allen needs to get back to. That dude cant play a full season can he? If we only keep 1 of our TE's this offseason I'd bet it'll be Coby.

Butler's skill-set is perfect for the slot. 

 

We need to help our defense by running the ball and controlling clock today. I would hate to get pounded on at home, by Jacksonville.

Agree with this 1000% Put Brown outside opposite of Vontae and see how it works out. We'll at least have two guys out of three playing to their strengths, and Brown isn't facing any amazing WRs (I think Allen Hurns if he plays), so he should do okay.

True which sucks as I thought he would be back for this game. The only good thing for us is his price keeps going down with his durability. So on one hand it may make it easier to keep him, but also could make it easier to let him go due to his injury history. I like Allen a lot, but the injuries are starting to wear on me more.

I mean, it was a worthwhile flier, but the signs were there that this wasn't going to set the world on fire. There should have been some other efforts made.

 

Any time you sign a veteran player, you need to have a good contingency plan. When we signed Gore, we had Ballard. When we signed Johnson we had all the other WR's.

 

When we signed Herrimans we just had all the same crap around him that we already knew didn't work.
