NFL shows brutally honest about colts.....

Honest =/= right. I've seen a ton of stuff that is just complete nonsense and showing complete lack of knowledge of the situation. The fans here understand it more than some of the *s writing the articles and doing the talking. I saw an article about how the Colts are apparently the worst constructed team in the NFL. If that isn't the most I'll informed trash I've ever seen, I don't know what is.

Almost nobody in the mainstream media even accepts coaching as a possible flaw.

Regarding your last sentence, they should because Pep's play calling is Bad!

We're not as bad as they are saying now and we're not as good as they were saying before the season. And don't listen to the ex-patriot yo-yo's on nfl network. (Teddy "hgh" brusky, willie " injury faker" mcginest, and heath"over-rated bum" whatshisface. The apples dont fall far from the belichek tree. Such homers.

We here seem to understand the team's issues better than them. Sometimes i wondrr if they even watch the games or just regurgitate the drivel they ovrrhear in the restroom.

Its not rocket science . The OL cant handle good defensive pressure and luck has no time for longer developing pass plays.

Maybe some of us should be on nfl network.

And i can't wait to hear what they say if we turn it around.

I cant watch nfl network when heath whatshisface and bruski are on. Especially whatshisface. His analysis is as second-rate as his football skills were.

Who hires these people?

Sometimes I wonder how the Majority of analysts got jobs to begin with. They rarely go out on a limb or go against the grain. They salivate over the teams that are currently doing well and can't wait to trash a team in a slump or who hasn't hit their stride yet. I am downright convinced that 70-80 percent of the posters on this board could do just as good a job given the chance. Such is life. I see it time and again in every aspect of job classification and employement. The people that are great are few and far between and the people that are touted as great are anything but.......rant over:)

Yep.  And we know where this is heading.

Once it has been (falsely) established that Grigson is the entire problem, it will inhibit his ability to fire Pep or anybody else....for a number of reasons.  Doing so would make Grigson look like he's a powerful guy making scapegoats out of the otherwise competent people that work for him.

I AGREE!!! When I hear them speak of Chuck it's ALWAYS about him being a great person and how the players love him. Not ONCE have I heard anyone comment on his X's and O's or of him running a FEARED defense after 4yrs! I hear some say the Colts benefit from being in the WEAK afc south and I say THIS COACHING STAFF benefits from it MORE than anybody!! Pep is the ONLY one taking some heat in the mainstream media (and deservedly so) due to how putrid the offense looks but Manusky's time is coming when the Colt's take on an elite offense! As much as I dislike Belichick the man can GAMEPLAN against the best of them and IF he had THIS Colt team even with its flaws they would be a serious threat to reach the SB. Don't give me the o-line nonsense (not good but SEVICEABLE) because the Pats used THREE ROOKIE lineman to handle that Bills defense IN Buffalo!!! If everyone can see the need to get rid of the ball quick AGAINST the blitz WHY can't Chuck as hc with the OVERALL gameplan or Pep as oc? I'll tell you why BAD COACHING!! Like having a one armed one legged Reggie STARTING against the Pats in the AFCCG after FADING down the stretch and giving you absolutely nothing in the playoffs allowing the Pats to double down on TY in the title game. This staff by ALL accounts are NICE guys BUT are subpar when it comes to coaching.

I haven't watched a lot of shows this weekend, but I haven't seen one that criticized the Colts' offensive coaching staff for the offense's problems.  I've seen it on this forum but nowhere else.  Perhaps I've missed the national criticism.

Brian Billick for one only after the back to back losses facing the blitz with the o-line woes in helping Luck with his struggles by dialing up more quick passes and utilizing the te. Stephen A Smith commented on the playcalling and about Luck holding onto the ball too long. A few more but NONE downright CRITICIZING Pep. It's more along the lines of what can be done to help Andrew but when you talk about playcalling that's on the oc which is why I believe Pep had that one presser saying he needs to do a better job in playcalling.
