I would like to see some of Irving tonight as well to see what he brings to the table in the run game and see if he has 100% of his movement back. I am pulling for Ballard tonight hoping he has a great injury free game, even if he doesn't make the roster it would be nice to see.

I'd be willing to be those injuries are just precautionary, at least on Boom.  I'd suspect Vick's best chance is to get IR designated to return, but I question if they want to use that there.  He needs time away from the game to get tip top.

 

We still have Tipton and Varga, so pannicking and signing a 34 year old backup seems foolish to me.  Granted, it could be a good year for us and a dependable backup may be beneficial, but then that would signal the end for a guy like Varga, who does seems to be one heck of a tough runner.  He'd be a good guy to hang onto I would think.

Is this a fact? Ballard is out for sure? I'm not doubting you C3502. I just don't live in Indianapolis & I will have to catch the game when NFL Network re-airs it later on. Shoot, I will pulling for Ballard man. Major bummer.
