Should Andrew Luck Shave Today?

It was pretty long yesterday. And 14 days from now his beard will be too long and he will have to shave. It's bad luck if he goes into the season opener shaved...

Lucks beard grows at a rate of .15 inches per day. If he shaves today, his beard will be 2 inches by gameday. It's pretty reasonable. He usually let's it to 3 inches before he shaves. Can anyone let him know? Thanks!

Calm down, buddy.  Just learn to relax and love the forum and all the absurdity that entails.  Football will be back real soon.

No keep it growing, who knows what he might hide in there  LOL.  Maybe an extra fist comes out if a defensive player gets too close to him  hahaha. In the winter, if it's real long he can freeze it and stick it out sideways and use it that way to keep players from sacking him  ROFL.  I know, I know, corny, but hey something to think about  LOL

I love the forum plenty.    I wouldn't spend so much time here if I didn't.    Football will return in early September and I'm fine with that.    I'm in no hurry.

It's just that a small handful of posters ruin things for the vast majority.     If that's what you call "all the absurdity that entails"... well OK.    That's your view.    It's just not mine.

That photo simply confirms my belief that Geico should bring back the cavemen and sign Luck to an endorsement deal as their slightly more evolved cousin.

Good idea there TBH. Maybe it's just me, but Andrew Luck looks a little bit like actor Joel David Moore to me. Check it out for yourself....

That's fine, but every time you comment on a post just to let everyone know you don't like it all you are doing is making sure it stays on the top of the page so it's the first topic anyone sees when they log on.  That's the only reason I posted here.

I don't think it's just you.  There is definitely a resemblance.  Kinda freaks me out when non-related people look like they could be related.  Just reminds you how very much alike we all are.

Your profile says you've been a member for a number of years,  yet you only recently started posting?     That's fine.

But if you've been around for a few years perhaps you've seen the posts by a person who goes by JSkinnz?

When he's disgusted with a post,  he'll simply respond with a.....

"Oh Dear, God..."

And an emoticon

That's how JSkinnz lets people know of his view of a ridiculous post.

And a number of us -- me included -- often do the same thing following his lead.

So,  when I respond with no words -- none -- but a series of emoticons,  that's how I let people here know how I feel about a post.

I don't do it often,  but from time to time.     I don't mind that my post takes it back to the top.    Hopefully pointing out silly, ridiculous posts discourages more of them in the future.

That's the hope at least........

Glad to see your posting now.....   a belated welcome to the website.     Hope you enjoy....

Who gives a rat's patootie?

Guys with more hair on their face than the top of their head. That's why I have a beard actually to distract people from my glaring bald spot. Too much information? Yeah, you're probably right jmac_48. More funny to me than anybody else I know.

Besides, too many athletes are clean shaven these days. I prefer the rugged individualism look myself, but I digress. Plus, beards look cool in cold weather games anyway like man vs beast sort of thing.

Me too buddy; Me too. Yeah, I can always tell when something rubs you the wrong way NCF whenever you post a ton of symbols on screen. I do respect your calm rational tone whenever you encounter resistance though NCF.

You can always tell when I'm upset because I'm a lot like ruksak & go into full sarcastic, overdrive mode. Jokes tend to mask a lot of tension, bitterness, & frustration on average. See anything Deflate Gate related for instance.

I always appreciate the kind words, SW1....    but I'm not sure I'm always using a "calm rational tone"...    I can get as sarcastic as anyone....    and sometimes I got a bit too far....

I'm currently on Triple Secret Probation,  so I'm  trying to be a good boy and not start any trouble....    I can't afford any more demerits!

But this thread just blew my mind and I had to say something....   even if I didn't use a single word.....

"Animal House" film territory eh? Wait, that was double secret probation wasn't it?  No worries my friend, I've been known to find myself in hot water occasionally myself. I view it as a badge of honor personally. Besides, I'll still drop by for a friendly chat even if you get placed in solitary confinement.

You're a good guy man never forget that okay. We all have our share of battle scars & if anybody rakes you unnecessarily over the coals, I've got your back. Trust me.

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?! Germans? Forget it, he's rolling." I love that line from "Animal House."  haha
