starters stats we're talking not overall. they protected luck and open lanes for boom

They did a good job pass blocking but they weren't as effective run blocking last night. The latter is to be expected when playing the Rams front and the pass protection improving is very encouraging to see. This line clearly isn't the Cowboys front seven but it's not the trainwreck it was when Grigson first got here. It still has holes but it does have two solid starters in Castonzo and Mewhort. I Holmes is serviceable at center. I think we upgraded right guard but that still only decent where as we got worse at left guard by moving Mewhort out to tackle,

If we can run the ball and pass block. Only then will we be satisfied with our oline. I'm only speaking for people who share my opinion, btw

The pass blocking was superb. Luck had forever to throw. Our run blocking kind of sucked but I'm not too worried about it because lots of teams will struggle to run the ball on the rams this year. Overall I'm quite pleased with the progress the starting o-line is making. The bills will be a good test for us to see if they can carry it to the regular season.
