word is they want to see if he can play at all and help them because, well,

If he can play at al, he can help them.

He's had ACL surgery twice and he's 30 or 31.

But a healthy Jake Long at tackle is better than what Denver has right now

A shame because I was hoping to hear news that the Colts would give him a look, Though with all the buzz about Jack Mewhort looking to start at RT I knew the chances were basically 0 that Long was in the cards. My attention is on LG......Who I think should be Joe Reitz's job to lose

there is a line in there that says "Jake Long may never play another down in the league' that suggests his injuries are more serious than simple ACL surgery
