Cox was a former hoops player at Ga Tech. Can only assume he wasn't progressing fast enough. Was a long shot from the beginning.

A former college basketball player who last played football in high school.

 

He's 6'8" and 295 and was looked at as a possible offensive tackle.

 

Looks like his game was more offensive,  and less tackle,  if ya know what I mean?!?

No. Just probably the really only photo they have of him

Meh....probably a good move...keep guys who have played the game of football.

 

...actually, we should keep ONLY the guys who have played football...like sayanora to basketball players (trying to hit a home run but striking out), and rugby players (who still look lost in OTA photos while trying to learn the game)
