Outside of football and wrestling the 90s SUCKED. Lame grunge music, annoying slang, snot rings, romance comedies...ugh.

But man it was some good football. Anybody who didn't get to see Favre in the 90s is unfortunate, and he wasn't the only iron man at quarterback, let alone in the league. He just overahadowed Young, Harbaugh (he got so many bad breaks but he was good and legit tough), and many other tough guys.

O and this little thing they called defense...Sapp, Brooks, THIS IS BRUCE SMITH'S SHOE MAN!, Randle...the only thing funner than watching the behead people was watching Favre behead them every week.

The COLLEGE football in Florida!!!!!! My Seminoles had the toughest schedule in the country every year before the ACC and we would always lose 1 or 2 games, ending our national championship hopes. Then we finally joined the ACC and it happened in 1993 in a bloodbath against Nebraska. There was just no way to top that...then it was topped Xs 1000 in 1994 against Florida. That was the best football game I've ever seen. ESPN wishes that would happen this day and age.

Madden?? Is that you!??

Oh and 90's music was/is phenom.

The only thing more annoying than Grunge is that alternative music that's E-NUN-CI-A-TED JUST LIKE THIS IN A NERD'S VOICE (Blink 182).

Blink 182 is Pop-Punk not "Alternative", Smashing Pumpkins would be an example of Alternative Rock. Also I can name about 45 genres that are more annoying than grunge (it's not annoying, it's just not your thing or you don't get it) most of which fall under the Country or Rap banner.

Cowboys had a very lucky last season because their offense really clicked.

Their defense is easily the worst in the league.

They drafted talented offensive linemen and played smash mouth offensive football. It wasn't luck at all.

Brady will lose his appeal

Clowney never comes close to living up his draft pedigree

Manziel is out of the league in a few years(not all that bold)

Packers, Seahawks or colts win the super bowl

Some body in the afc east will challenge the pats

Colts O line will have a good year

We lose one of the following in free agency: fleener, allen or hilton

Not smash-mouth at all. Reminded me heavily of the 2003-2004 Colts teams.

Great QB, OL, and WRs...good RB...horrible at other positions.

Nobody on that dallas D last year needed a double team, most of their defensive players wouldn't even be 2nd stringers on any other team. Their offense was what controlled the clock and the game, playing keep-away from the opposing teams' offenses.

The fact that a recently "come out of retirement and hope I make some money" Rolando McClain became the team's best player on D just speaks volumes as to how bad their defense really was. Switch their D with the Jaguars D...give em Paul Posluzney and SenDerrick Marks and the team instantly gets better.

We finally get more than one 100 yard rushing game performance in 2015 from our feature back.

Mathis has atleast one game closing strip sack.:)

12 keeps his INTs at 10 or less.

DJoun Smith has a pick six in 2015

Langford or Jones miss time to injury, and Anderson steps in and plays stout.

Colts get 1 seed in the AfC and coach Pagano Gets coach of the year award.

Here's 1 nobody has touched. Peyton Manning will join Brett Favre, George Blanda, John Hadl, Vinny Testaverde, Fran Tarkenton, Norm Snead, Johnny Unitas, Dan Marino, Y.A. Tittle, and Jim Hart in a class with no others. Can anybody guess what it is?

He missed out on being a 90's kid :/ poor guy..

Nothing to miss out on really. The 90's was a forgettable decade in general. Especially for music, oh god that's the truth. Things did not start to really improve until the later years, all thanks to the internet. I don't miss dial up either.

Yeah the 90s was awesome. 90s music (Metal/Grunge) introduced me to a lot of my favorite bands. Alice in Chains and Slipknot are two bands I listen to daily. Also Scream is a 90s film and that movie was my gateway to Horror films.

At least we got Manson in his prime in the 90's eventually. ;) And yes Manson in his PRIME only, post Holy Wood forget it obviously, bleh.

And yes the 90's were the decade too which glorified over rated way too long stupid movies such as Forrest Gump and Titanic, I won't elaborate.

I think this thread must have gone off topic bad.....

On topic: Luck wins regular season MVP. Colts beat Patriots. Colts lose to Steelers. Colts may make SB.....may not make SB. But, either way Luck still takes home a present from the year since he is the awesome.

We're probably in the same age category. I remember Alice In Chains when i was young. "Dirt" Great album, easily my favorite of theirs. I never was into grunge, never was my thing. I'm not big on metal anymore, but I agree there was some great albums there. Megadeth was in their prime, and there was several great industrial albums. KMFDM's Nihil and Ministry's Psalm 69 are arguably the two's best albums.

Yes Jules, and Manson was the nazz back in the 90's. No one would have guessed he'd turn into a washed up drunk loser that gets punched in the face at Denny's. He used to be so intelligent, and look at him now. It's embarrassing. You know how much I hate Forrest Gump, that movie should be purged for it's stereotypical portrayal of 'Da South'. The older I get I see Titanic is worse and worse. Have you ever seen the one with Barbara Stanwych? I've wanted to watch it for years just because of her.

One word to sum up the 90's 'meh'.Two I guess since you mentioned 'bleh'.

Steelers vs Colts this year would be the 20 year repeat of that year Harbaugh almost won MVP and this team lost to the Steelers in the AFCCG only for Niel friggin' O'Donnell to throw the SB with the worst interception ever.

Debating in my head weather I should post a full prediction sheet for the New Orleans Saints.

According to a friend on here I picked on the Saints every week, I got at least 10 of their games right last year including 7 of their 9 losses.

One thing I will say, do not expect them to win the South. Look at Atlanta's schedule if you're still pondering over who will win the south.

DO IT BOG!!!!!!!!!!

The worst part of the Saints winning again will be the end of angry Bogie.

I'll post it later only because you asked!  :yahoo:

If I called 10 of their games right last year, I fear I'll be right about another losing season. Just feels like it.

Saints schedule prediction 3.0

At Arizona - Loss

Tough place to start the season, and so far, the Saints have not won a road opener in years.

Tampa Bay - Win

Will be a close one but I like our chances here, despite our recent games against them.

At Carolina - Win

Early road win, but I could easily see a loss

Dallas - Loss

Go back and look at what they did to us last year...No chance, even if it's at home.

At Philly - Loss

Poison syringe is DeMarco Murray. Saints struggle bad with teams that can run on us.

Atlanta - Loss

The Falcons at least give the Saints a run for the money and play us like they hate us. The Saints laid down vs them last year.

Indy - Loss

I would love to win this game just for fun on here, but I don't like our chances having no weapons and Luck having plenty

NY Giants - Win

Blowout

Tennessee - Win

Blowout again, and this is when the bandwagon begins.

At Washington - Loss

This is the Saints krptonite. They struggle with Washington and St Louis, and I do not like our chances with the game being on the road. i chalked this up as a loss before the schedule was released.

BYE

At Houston - Loss

Another one I do not like the looks of. I make fun of the Texans all the time but they are the type of team that really can hurt on the Saints. That defense is the type we normally struggle against and Romeo Crennel normally does beat us. He has a winning record vs the Saints. JJ Watt will chase Brees and it will be a nightmare.

Carolina - Loss

Just like last year, Cam burns the house down. Carolina late in the season plays like they're on steroids.

At Tampa - Win

Hard one for me to pick but I think the Saints win there, since they always do. If we lose to Tampa,it will be week 2

Detroit - Win

Revenge game over last year. Do not see the Saints losing this one.

Jacksonville - Win

No joke, blow out.

At Atlanta - Win

Falcons lose their final game of the season every year. Look at how bad they lost last year when everyone picked them. I think here though, they rest their starters.

8-8 season.

But my real prediction is 7-9, cause I do expect Tampa Bay to beat us OR Atlanta will sweep us. One or the other will happen.

I just have a good vibe about the Packers this year, and those pesky Giants who go on a spree once in 4 years :) (2007, 2011).

And as per the usual they will squeak into the playoffs with a 9 and 7 record or something close... continue to win in the playoffs... Lord I can't watch this cycle again lol

The Packers should be winless in the playoffs since Favre besides 2010. They've won 2 games besides that year and those games were The Reversal and The Joe Webb Game.

This year will be even more painful for us realists when the new OC lets Rodgers keep piling it on in the easy games so he can look good compared to the scapegoat Mike McCarthy. But when they go 1 and done it'll be more hilarious to.

Interesting. Yet you don't acknowledge the brain fart ST's play by GB last year that should have landed them in the Super Bowl.

You know you won't find a bigger Brady fan than myself but honestly your position on Rodgers and the Packers is baffling. I get being a Favre fan and all but I would LOVE it if the Pats got a QB anywhere near as good as Rodgers post Brady. Who knows maybe Jimmy is that guy. Favre was great in his own merit. I don't get why you feel like Rodgers success somehow subtracts from Favre.

That wasn't a Favre post. All the things I said there about playoffs, McCarthy etc would get ran into the ground if it were about anybody else. Think of all the hooks and turns that the Manning and Brady debates take. Manning's playoff record, Manning and Brady head to head record, Manning vs the Chargers, then as soon as somebody like Eli or Brees wins a few games people will spin something up about why all of those games are null and void. But not Aaron Fraudgers.

Favre fans are predominately not very smart individuals.

I am not sure I follow. I think Rodgers gets his fair share of criticism. He has a couple of his teammates questioning his leadership a couple of years ago. People have noted his struggles vs the Niners and Seahawks. But honestly, it is hard at times to criticize the guy because he plays the position so beautifully. And GB has not put a great team around him from his receivers to his defense. It is a shame last year that it came down to a ST gaffe to stop him from getting to his second bowl. I think a Pats/GB super bowl would have been just as entertaining as Seattle.

That was never true. Everybody blamed the OL before (and that line was bad...but still better than 2 of their division opponents) but they got it together. Then it was the defense and 4 straights ints in the last playoff game didn't get the win so now it's McCarthy's fault. Whose fault will it be next?

Prediction: a thread or 20 will get locked, not when a Pats fan brings Brady into it, but when a Colts fan has a total meltdown over it.

I won't make a habit out of this but I have to say 1 thing about the most recently locked thread. If the Colts fans had half a clue how to handle these obsessed Pats fans...I mean dang they set their own fails up so perfectly but then the Colts somehow top them every time and end up getting burned. Then the thread gets locked.

Bears earn the first pick in 2016...

Both Houston and the Titans finish with winning records.

Tom Brady never plays another snap in the NFL (not including preseason), but the Empire strikes back with a playoff appearance... every year until BB retires.

Phillip Dorsett returns a KO for a TD in the opener and a punt for a TD in the SB.

Robert Kraft runs for PUSA...

1.Ravens 11-5

2.Bengals 9-7

3.Steelers 7-9
