The "What will happen" Mock Draft (w/ trade)

Round 1 - Ben Heeney, LB, Kansas

 

This guy fits what Grigson looks for in an ILB. Small, doesn't shed blocks, and misses a ton of tackles. This guy is possibly a day 1 starter after D'Qwell Jackson server his mandatory 3 month prison sentence for going all Mike Tyson on the papa johns guy.

 

TRADE: 

 

Colts trade a 2016 1st, 2017 1st, and 2018 1st to the Patriots

 

Round 1 - Jalston Fowler, FB, Alabama

 

Pep Hamilton gets his man. 

 

Round 2 - B.J. Dubose, EDGE, Louisville

 

There's nothing Chuck Pagano loves more than a quality edge. A nice, smooth, sharp edge capable of performing a variety of different cutting techniques. Grigson gets the added bonus of showing his hurbis in thinking he outsmarted everyone by taking a terrible athlete with a high draft pick.

 

Round 3 - Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn

 

Coates fills the role of a fast WR who drops hella passes. Pagano and co. immediately name him a stater over the unproven T.Y. Hilton. 

 

Round 4 - Joey Iosefa, FB, Hawaii

 

Colts draft the heir apparent to Jalston Fowler. 

 

Round 5 - David Parry, NT, Stanford

 

He went to Stanford. That's pretty much it. 

 

Round 6 - A.J. Johnson, LB, Tennessee

 

Brings the criminal linebacker quota up to full bar. 

 

Round 6 - Rakeem Nunez-Roches, DT, Southern Miss

 

Grigson is quoted as saying "We pretty much just determine our late draft picks by quality of name" 

 

Round 7- Jesse James, TE, Penn State

 

Grigson: "I'm surprised he was still available honestly. I think everyone here could attest to the quality of his bikes" 

 

Round 7- N/A

 

Colts don't get the pick in in time as Grigson is on the phone trying to coax MJD out of retirement and Pagano is at Bed, Bath, and Beyond looking to buy a new kitchen knife set.
