Lol this is a joke he has helped us incredibly and I have no idea how inheriting a brand new rebuilding team and expecting to win a ring the fourth year while taking the job isn't expected. Keep Pagano

Ian is pretty good solid info. Doubt this is something to be taken lightly. Him & Adam S. are usually on top of things

Personally, I wouldn't mind a more hard nose coach. Like a Rex Ryan kinda guy or Belicheck kinda guy

Pagano is just too nice imo

Rapoport is actually a really awful source, I think he makes up half the stuff he says.

Quite honestly, I believe this really to be a make or break year for Pagano. The Colts have the pieces in place now and have shown themselves to be more than capable of getting to the mountain top. New England remains the one challenger in the way. If Pagano gets the Colts past them and to the top of the mountain, you'll see him be the Colts coach for a long time. However, if he doesn't and the Colts underperform this season, you likely won't see him return.

It's a simple business.

Pagano also said at the owners meeting that if they didn't fix the run defense "they'll find somebody else who will."

then get rid if Grigs too I'm not saying to now I just mean if the run D is still poor after the season he better hope his FA turn things around for us cause there were alot of good players out there this year

Get rid of the team builder? How does that make sense?

It's Grigson's fault we look top flight against some teams but get blown out against the same team year after year?

Considering he signs and drafts the players, yes, some (a lot) of the blame falls on him.

How? Allowing unknown RB's to go for 200yrds and 4TD against you isn't on Grigson. The Jags don't even allow those numbers and our roster is better than theirs

Yall aren't poaching Jim from us ): go blue

Even us Buckeyes feel so bad for your program that we wish Harbaugh can bring it back.  We need it to be the rivalry it was in the last century.

O  H  !!!

Besides, I'm not sure I'd want Harbaugh as a Colts coach anyway.  I'm happy with Chuck.

makes sense to me.  too bad CP was sick, so we only have 3 full years to evaluate him with.  he could stand to get better on coming up with game plans offensively and defensively.  the patriots were the better team, but we had the personal to make it a game.

i dont know why we abandoned the run and didnt throw more to our tight ends and herron.

also we stuck with TR and landry far too long, and werner is one of our better run defenders but was inactive against the team that likes to run down our throat

Personally, I think our talent level is good, but not at Super Bowl level, yet. Yes, we were one game away from the Super Bowl, but we we realistically are no where near as talented as the two teams that actually played in the Super bowl, NE and Seattle. (I know that we still have the draft).

If this is a "make or break" season for Coach Pagano, then I feel bad for him. Our greatest weakness have always been and still remain the O-line and D-line. Coincidentally, those two areas were minimally addressed through FA. I foresee another season of bad but improving run defense (we were ranked #18, 26 previously), and continued issues at O-line. Yes, we can be hopeful that it has gotten better, but I will reserve being hopeful after so many years of sub-par O-line performances.

I think the players absolutely love to play for Pagano and that he's great at coaching up the DBs. On the other hand, I think he's easily out coached in the gameplan department and his in game adjustments, generally, boil down to praying Luck can be our savior.

    • Then begs the question. Do u want to say draft a MJH at 4 and turn around in 4 years or would u say draft Turner and pay him 30mill in 4 years? All day every day for the franchise rush end. I am not a big believer in 30 mill for a wr. Reid is a fantastic coach and look what he did with Hill.
    • I literally just posted that clip, it's where the conversation about QBs started.
    • Funny you brought this up.  I just listened to an interview Ballard did today with Rich Eisen.  He asked him if he has given any thought on how many quarterbacks will be taken before our pick and how many does he think.  He said sure we go through those evaluations.  It helps us with for planning purposes.  He asked him how many.  4 or 5 or 6?   He laughed out loud at 6.  He said Rich if it’s 6 we will be so excited.  Let’s hope so.  He also said the draft board is not yet set.  Won’t be until the night before the draft.  He also said he has had multiple conversations with other GM’s concerning the draft.  Preparing themselves for opportunities that could take place.  And they will continue up until the draft starts.  He said trade conversations won’t really materialize until you are within three picks of any trade.  Giving you time to finalize it.  Interesting interview.  Oh he pretty much ruled out moving up for Harrison.   Going up into the top of the draft would be very costly for him he said.  Thinks he’s a great talent but he thinks he’s pretty much out of our reach.
    • I personally wouldn’t touch Williams with a 10 foot pole. He seems like a distraction and cancerous. He may be Uber talented but I don’t feel like he is a winner, and don’t feel like his heart is in it. I think he gets the bag and just sets it on cruise control. There is absolutely nothing to base this off of aside from my gut feeling.  Maye Daniels  Penix Nix McCarthy   Maye is your prototype passer and I think his deficiencies are easily fixed with good coaching.   Daniels seems the most limited to me, proficient and will be very dependent on where he goes.    Will always have a soft spot for Penix, he throws such a pretty deep ball. His 40 time should have opened some eyes.   Nix is probably the safest pick IMO. I think he’s got the tools to fit nearly any offense. Has the athleticism, arm talent and I think he’s got the between the ears to excel in most offenses.   I see the appeal with McCarthy, he was as unselfish as they come allowing the run game to shine instead of checking to pass plays. I think his ceiling is a solid game manager.
    • I'd imagine he's going bald. Most men his age usually are when they start sporting the caps 24/7.
