Colts dangerous team for Demarco Murray also among best landing spots for Ndamukong Suh

Recommended Posts

I really hope we don't even consider Murray. We can get his clone in the 2nd round (Coleman). Suh, Oh yes. Please Grigs sign this beast. Suh would single handedly turn our defense around 360 degrees IMO. We'd still need a couple other pieces, but we really need a guy like Suh. Then if Mathis comes back healthy, and Newsome keeps getting better, we could conceivably have 3 game wreckers in the front 7.

please no murray. rbs that get 400 touches are useless

He wouldn't get 30+ touches here cause we have other weapons. He'll just be here to be a threat out the backfield so teams like the Patriots can stop whooping us by playing coverage all game cause they know we can't run!

400 touches means injuries and lack luster production. we're not gonna get the same murray

Lol.. people are funny.. you guys would rather draft an unproven player over a dominant player yet to be in his prime.. Murray would vastly improve this team

You mean people would rather draft a fresh running back, from a deep running back class, for a fraction of the cost .... over an injury prone RB who was used hard last season, and will want a huge contract .... you're right what is everyone thinking ... "people are funny"  :sarcasm:

Coleman is not Murrays clone. Coleman is an electric home run hitter. Murray isn't.

For the $ I guess I'd prefer Coleman, but I don't know if he will have the success everyone is thinking he will in the NFL. At least Murray has proved he can produce.

Both rumors or just not guaranteed.

I don't want Murray at all, Suh is intriguing.

Thoughts?

No offense , but reports like that mean no more than some * like myself pointing out that the Colts have a lot of cap room and need a new #1 RB. It could be the furthest thing in Grigson's mind to use around 6+ mill of cap room on a RB. Nor do we know if he would even consider spending around 14-15 mill per year on a DT. So my thoughts , you ask for them , are those two links can be flushed down the toilet as they bring nothing that wasn't very obvious to the table.

So he would make our Defense exactly the same? I think you ment 180.  But I agree we should sign Suh.  And I would rather have Murry then an unproven Rb.  We need a real threat at rb.  Not another could be.

LOL, yeah man I've already explained it, but yeah I meant like he would completely turn it around. So yeah 180. LOL.

If you take a closer look at Murray's career I think he has had one season he hasn't missed time due to injury. That's going all the way back to high school. No thank you.

I would rather have Mark Ingram, Boom Herron, Vick Ballard(hopefully), and a rookie.

If we get Murray I will be so upset... then if he starts playing well I will go to the greener side of the pasture.

U joking right? about wanting those backs you mentioned then Murray? Why the dislike for a top back. Folks there's no Faulk coming out of this draft. Give me a break about Boom/Ballard; they get high marks only because nobody wants to see Trent. Ballard has been injury-riddled and Boom coughs up the ball to much.

I could step in and get 3 yards a carry behind that O line. Not saying Murray is bad, but he may as well be unproven considering the drastic drop off between the cowboys line and ours.
