Bucky Brooks latest Mock Draft

Has us taking DE Arik Armstead. I for one would love this since we have a big need at DE now with RJF gone. Armstead and Arthur Jones would make for a good 3/4 DE pairing. Indy would just then need their dominant NT.

i love Bucky's mock drafts every year and this one i like alot as well Armstead could be a huge addition to the D-Line

I'd be happy with that pick, having a legit playmaker up front could transform our D. Redding has had flashes but father time was always catching up IMO.

I like Armsteads upside if it ever clicks for him down after down...The problem I have is....Will it ever click? Can we afford to draft a player who really did not produce much in college. I don't see it happening but that's proven not to mean much at times, With what Brooks has left after our pick I'd almost go with Erving over Armstead

I may be way out but he reminds me of a Ziggy Ansah type gamble? Though I think Ansah is more of a physical beast.

Armstead clearly has a big upside, Its a gamble I'd take depending on who is on the board at 29 but I'd also wonder if I traded down if I could get him in the top of the 2nd as well as get an extra pick

Unless there is someone clearly a no brainer at 29 I favour trading down if we can get a trade partner.

If we go DL round 1 it will be Phillips or Davis. Armstead will be gone by 29.

Jordan Phillips would be a really good pick IMO.

Especially with the Cardinals releasing Darnell Dockett. Armistead is a perfect fit in that system.

The Saints would also love to have him too.
