2015 Colts Draft With Trades

Recommended Posts

I'm beginning to think that we need to trade down to get an extra third round pick or something to that nature. I did a draft where there were a couple trade downs, and it turned out really good. Got a few picks that were a bit lucky, but there's no reason why none of these couldn't happen on draft day as of today.

Round 2 Pick 11 (NYG): Cody Prewitt, FS, Ole Miss (A-)
Round 2 Pick 24: Denzel Perryman, ILB, Miami (Fla.) (A)
Round 3 Pick 1 (T.B.): Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma (A)
Round 3 Pick 17 (K.C.): Jaquiski Tartt, SS, Samford (A-)
Round 3 Pick 24: Andy Gallik, C, Boston College (A-)
Round 4 Pick 24: Jeremy Langford, RB, Michigan State (A)
Round 5 Pick 24: Deshazor Everett, CB, Texas A&M (A)
Round 6 Pick 17 (K.C.): James Castleman, DT, Oklahoma State (A)
Round 6 Pick 24: Adam Shead, OG, Oklahoma (A-)
Round 6 Pick 30: Doran Grant, CB, Ohio State (A)
Round 7 Pick 19: Jamison Crowder, WR, Duke (A)
Round 7 Pick 24: Malcolm Brown, RB, Texas (A)

kinda feel like tevin coleman would be there in the third round in place of jaquiski tartt

He was not there in this draft where Tartt was. There were 4 different rbs I would of been satisfied with in the 3rd there, but Tartt was the only SS in the draft I wanted that was still there. I decided to pair him with Prewitt and hope 1 of the RB's I liked fell a round. That's exactly what happened.

That would be such an awesome draft. Perryman's an instant starter an impact player IMO. I think DGB is going to be a top 5 WR too. Crowder would be a good late round pick too for return purposes. The only thing that would make this draft better is if Tevin Colman was there in the 3rd.

Here is my dream draft with trades for the Colts...

Round 2 Pick 6 (WASH): Denzel Perryman, ILB, Miami (Fla.) (B+)
Round 2 Pick 24: Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami (Fla.) (B+)
Round 3 Pick 6 (WASH): Anthony Harris, SS, Virginia (A)
Round 3 Pick 29 (ARI): Andy Gallik, C, Boston College (A)
Round 4 Pick 6 (WASH): Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana (A)
Round 4 Pick 24: Senquez Golson, CB, Ole Miss (A)
Round 4 Pick 29 (ARI): Ladarius Gunter, CB, Miami (Fla.) (B-)
Round 5 Pick 1 (BUF): Stefon Diggs, WR, Maryland (A)
Round 5 Pick 24: Quandre Diggs, CB, Texas (C-)
Round 6 Pick 24: Corey Crawford, DE, Clemson (A-)
Round 6 Pick 30: Terrance Magee, RB, LSU ©

Btw I have Senquez Golson as a FS for us. He would be the perfect center fielder, especially since he was also drafted as a center fielder for Boston. He is in the same mold build wise as a Tyrann Mathieu.

We literally solve all our issues on this team with this draft in my opinion. The only thing I couldn't get was a quality player on the DL, which we generally sign a DL player every offseason as of late anyways.

Very solid. Love Anthony Harris, was unable to get him in my draft. Ereck Flowers is someone I'm warming up to as well. He will rise quickly IMO. I'd love to get him in the late 2nd. Coleman in the 4th would be a dream. Perryman is solid and would start for us. Golson is very nice and has the versatility to be a nice piece on our secondary. The only one I really don't know a lot about is Stefon Diggs. The others are nice pieces as well. Would obviously take this draft 10 out of 10 times.
