Yes, the Colts were much sharper under Arians, then about the same last year, but worse this year.

No they weren't... Goodness, man, you keep saying this, and it's so false that I don't even know where to begin. That team got blown out by the Jets and the Patriots, got taken apart by the Texans in Week 15, then got dismissed by the Ravens in the first round of the playoffs. How is that "sharper" in any way?

All we know how to do is be inconsistent!!! There is always some portion or multiple portions of our team on offense and or defense that doesn't come to play basically on a weekly basis. Whether it's the recievers having a case of the drops one week or the D line gets blown up the other. I don't know what our problem is... but we certainly have a BIG one!!! We're fortunate we're in the playoffs, Although Id rather us not be in the playoffs at this point.. just to watch us come out and flop on national TV like we love to do. I get a feeling whoever we play in the first round is gonna have a field day with us.

So both years they had 11-5 records. I don't get this obsession with Arians. He is not the Colts head coach. He is not going to be the Colts head coach. Pagano is going to be here for a while. Irsay is not going to fire any coach when the team is winning division titles. We are in year 3 of a total rebuild and are still at least one draft and a couple of free agents away to be competitive in the playoffs. It's not rocket science. I guess the term 'fan' is short for fanatic. That holds as true when it come to a lot of Colt fans. It's either we are going to the super bowl or we won't win another game. Take your pick.

Yes. We have regressed. Call me crazy but we were better off with Satele and McGlynn in our line. Even though Luck has all the yardage right now, we have not been competitive on playoff caliber teams like we have last year. And Lucks interceptions has a lot to do with that. Digging a hole a couple times a game because of turnovers.

I get people are emotional after the whipping the Colts just took and that the team has problems they are continuing to iron out BUT the above sentence is absolutely positively irrational and absurd

No, it's not. Our line at this current time, was more consistent than right now. Remember, we still had Donald Brown running the football and making plays right now. This year, at this moment, we have nothing unless you count Herrons long TD run against the Redskins.

Bradshaw was playing as well or better then Brown before he got hurt, The O Line this year for all its inability to open up holes in the run game is still on pace to give up less sacks then last year and are on pace to give up less QB hit according to NFL Network numbers

Yeah could be debatable since a lot of lucks picks have been while getting sacked but throwing it out. So in my eyes it's about equal as last year. Bradshaw was better than Brown and better than Richardson. But he cannot stay healthy to save his life. Last year we had Donald brown making plays at this time last year. This year, we don't have any play makers at running back. Even if we did, our center, right guard, and right tackle (if Gosder doesn't play) can't run block very well to have our running backs run through.

How is this any different?

I hate saying this, but they have regressed big time.  In fact, I hate saying this even more, but Luck seems to have regressed a lot.  Maybe not his fault, maybe he's trying to be superman all the time and can't continue to do it all alone.  But man, he needs help desperately.

They have had 3 years under the current staff and haven't improved , arguably it's going backwards. I would classify that as a coaching problem. Looks like Pagano does well enough steering the ship but legitimate questions are being asked whether they can take the next step with him at the helm. He seems like a middle of the road coach to me.

This was discussed last year . Donald Brown can run the ball a little but he is absolutely HORRENDOUS at blocking, almost getting Luck killed several times before they decided he wasn't worth it. He is getting even less playing time with SD.

Yes they have.  They had a 4 game winning streak going against Jax, Was, Cle and Hou all teams under .500.  Wins are wins but when you only beat two playoff caliber teams(Cin and Bal), trouble is headed your way in the playoffs.  They need to take every game from here on out as a learning experience.  Fill in roster weaknesses next year and hopefully be much improved.  Everyone needs to keep in mind this team has a third year QB, not many third year QB's even make the playoffs in their third year and if they do it's usually one and done.  The future is very bright for this team.  I know we want the future to be now but we need to look on the bright side!

And the funny thing is, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens may miss the playoffs this year. If so, then we haven't beat any playoff caliber teams this year. haha
