The Colts will beat the Cowboys thread.

I've had this feeling all week that the Colts will be walking into a buzz saw on Sunday. Cowboys need to win and will be EXTRA motivated for this one. Of course though their defense is kind of weak and I don't think would take much for Luck to have a big day.

Let.s hope that Jerry Jones has that "I just crapped in my pants" look on his face. It's priceless.   :fireworks:

LOL. That would be an early Christmas gift for all of us. Sure, I'd love to see the Colts win 49-0, but what the heck. I wouldn't mind a miraculous Colts comeback, where Jerry is all giddy for the first 3 quarters, then THAT LOOK at the end.

Maybe that's asking for too much from Santa.

Something tells me that we will win. I just think all the pressure is on Dallas and Tony Romo. We all know how that's panned out over the years.

I think there was more pressure on them last week to beat Philly and they mopped the floor with them. The thing that concerns me, and this isn't a must win game so its not a big concern, but in order to get a win against Dallas we'll need everyone healthy and that's just not the case. I know Pagano earlier in the week said they wont rest starters but I read an article yesterday that has him saying that they will have to make decisions on guy's like Wayne and TY that are nursing chronic injuries so if TY doesn't play I'd say our chances go down significantly.

I think if Murray plays, we make him fumble because of his injury.  If he doesn't play, we stop the run and force Romo to throw.  Romo can't go to Dez because Vontae is on him like glue and the rest of our defense secondary doubles Williams or their TE.  We hold them to field goals in first half while we build our lead.  Romo gets desperate and throws INTs the 2nd half.

I love the enthusiasm guys but I think this game will be very difficult to win.  It's not the same December Cowboys!  Despite their history, Murray is the best RB in the league, Bryant is arguably the best at his position.  Witten is certainly a high caliber TE.  For Tony Romo, it's hard saying.  I don't think he will play poorly, and his teams play speaks for itself.  Afternoon game in Dallas, I just don't like the recipe.  Same feeling I had against Pittsburg...

I think you guys are in for a rude awakening. The cowboys defense may not be a top D but it's much improved and as long as they play man they can win a few of those battles to the outside. Your running game seems to be non existent so there's no worry there, and Andrew luck is one good quarterback but he does force the ball and dosent he lead the league in pick 6's? Joseph Randle and lance Dunbar are even more explosive then Murray who is scheduled to play by the way. Should be a good game and good luck to your guys and the colts.

Cowboys defense doesn't concern anyone here, Ive seen a bunch of Cowboys games this year, and you guys WILL have to score more than 30 points to win.

Jay Cutler leads the league in Pick 6's. But Andrew is up there for sure.

Cowboys fan here. Lurked around for a bit and I must say this is a classy board.

That said, I fully expect Luck to shred our defense. I can only hope that our offense can keep pace. Add to the fact that for some reason we are less than stellar in our own stadium and you know we're nervous. SMH.

If any of you want to have discussions with level-headed Cowboys fans, you're more than welcome to come over to http://cowboys-forever.proboards.com/

Tell 'em Brooklyn sent you.

Here's to a good, injury-free game.

GO COWBOYS!!!

If Randle and Dunbar were more explosive that Murray, one of them would be starting in games.

I think our defense forces 3+ turnovers....

Colts 31

Cowpies 20

Cowpies...  :funny:  lmao that was fantastic PAC56.

Since Dallas typically sucks playing at Jerry World, I pray that the tradition remains true this weekend. As a life long Cowboys hater myself, I'll be nice & say INDY 35 Dallas 28.

Murray's surgically repaired finger will be the difference here despite the fact it's on his non football carrying hand.

It's going to be a long day since it doesn't look like TY is playing..

It's alright SL12; It just means more reps & TD drives for Donte Moncrief on Sunday. Don't sweat it man.

Besides, we need to find new ways to win games without him once Hilton gets double team in the post season anyway.

This is going to be a good game. My boys have much to play for tho and Romo is much better than most teams credit him. Don't expect an easy win if the Colts get one at all. As a Dallas fan first the Colts are my second favorite team 33-27 Cowboys.

It will be a hard fought game in my opinion. Colts will most likely sit TY Hilton with the hamstring injury, missing 3 O-Linemen, and our best corner Vontae Davis may not play as well. Not looking pretty for us.

I like the name of this thread, but I have concerns about this game. Dallas's defense is suspect, but if Romo has a near perfect day throwing the football, it will be a long day for the Colts. The Colts' defense has been impressive lately; it's their O-line and Luck's fumbles that are problems. Luck hasn't been getting much protection, and if the Colts have turnovers or penalties, Dallas might easily take advantage. I watched the Dallas-Eagles game, and Dallas was almost unstoppable. The Colts still could win, but I have a feeling that will be a high scoring game. The winner will be whoever makes the least mistakes.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but a win this week and another against the Titans and we have the #3 seed.  We could even lose and win against the Titans and in many scenarios, STILL have the #3 seed.  The ONLY way for us to move up is for New England or Denver to lose BOTH games and us win both.  I can't see either of that happening.

On the other hand, it is VERY likely that if the Cowboys lose this game, they don't even make the playoffs.  I tried every scenario on the Playoff machine and Dallas is out unless some really unlikely matchups go South for a lot of top tier teams.  So for all purposes, this is a playoff game for the Cowboys and we all know what that means: CHOKE.  But their team this year is certainly the best they've had in many many years.  If Murray plays like he usually does, we're in trouble most likely because if we load up the box too much, Dez will run rampant, even with Davis out there.  I think our best shot is pressuring Romo enough so that all they can do is run and then we have to man up and stop that.  OR, we could go ahead and put a spy on Murray every play and hope Davis can shut down Dez and our other guys can hang in Man defense.

Do you feel lucky?  Well do you punk?  This punk say yes!  I think our guys will rise to the occasion!  (If Hilton plays): Indy 34, Dallas 30.  =)

PS: No Hilton? Murray plays like normal?  I reserve the right to alter my pick!

Are you blaming a L in which Romo threw 5 TDs on Romo?

lol

I've been a hardcore fan of the Cowboys for my entire life, and I can assure you that Tony Romo has never been a problem in Dallas.

Not even when he threw that INT to Rob Jackson I believe of the Skins on that pass to the flats and y'all loss?

Not when he fumbled the snap for that FG against the Seahawks?

Not when he throws 3-4 INTS in one game?

He's "never" been the problem? Never never never never been the problem?

Nope.

Has he had down games? Sure. Has he thrown untimely picks? I suppose so. Like every QB has.

But this thing where people call Romo a "choker" and say he cannot succeed in big games is lol worthy.

...... Has he ever won a playoff game? Everytime y'all have that season showdown to get into the playoffs he chokes

I do think Romo is a good QB, but I can't say there isn't a bit of truth to the choker thing until he proves differently.

There's not a whole list of big games Romo has won for the Boys.  Consecutive years either in the playoffs or right at the end of the year at a time like this weekend when the game is on the line and the Boys are counting on Romo to pull the thing out it always tends to end in some kind of turnover by him.  It may be perception more than reality, but there's only one way to wipe away the stigma and Romo hasn't gotten it done yet.
