Super Bowl: If not the Colts, then who?

Obviously we want the Colts to win the Super bowl, but if not the Colts, then who would you like to win it all?

It appears that the favorites at the moment might be the Patriots, and Seattle/Green Bay. I would hate to see the Patriots win, for obvious reasons. Further, I would hate to see Seattle win again. Not only are they cocky and brash, I would hate for Wilson to have won 2 twice, and the whole Wilson vs. Luck debate becomes SB wins vs. stats, ala Brady vs. Manning.

Overall, I wouldn't mind if Green Bay wins it all. I would like for the Broncos to win, but the ensuing "the Colts should've kept Manning" debate would drive me nuts.

Don't know. During the playoffs usually find a way to pull for a team when the colts aren't playing. I know I won't be rooting for the Pats, for obvious reasons, nor the Seahawks....because Russell Wilson is the only likeable guy on the team.

If not the Pats, I would like to see Dallas. I have always been sympathetic toward Romo and I would like to see him get to hoist the trophy.

Would not mind Arizona either.

I too have been sympathetic toward Romo, but I wouldn't be able to tolerate the non-stop coverage of all things Cowboys. It would sicken me. I loke Romo but hate the Cowboys.

Yes, it would be nauseating but I don't hate anyone on the Cowboys like I did back when Jimmy Johnson was coaching.

Patriots should be everyone's favorite to see win. Tom Brady is magical and handsome.

If not the Patriots, I'd probably root for the Eagles or Bengals.

Teams that would make me vomit all over myself if they won include:

1. Broncos

2. Colts

3. Ravens

4. Steelers

5. Seahawks

6. Cowboys

7. Packers

Magical and handsome? That is sickening. I am male so the handsome thing is out. Magical? No, just a good QB on a good team.

Cardinals deserve it the way they are fighting through injuries, Arians coach of the year. But I believe it will be GB NE in the SB and a toss up from there

Unless Drew Stanton starts playing at a decent level, the Cardinals are doomed. Any team coming off a win will be a handful for them in the divisional round.

Anybody but the Packers and Saints, and it's not just the Favre fanboy in me. Brees is trash and Bountygate was a sham regardless of who got the worst of it. I'm also sick of the Packers just having so many easy games handed to them, then getting deatroyed in the tough games, then everyone acting like that never happened (granted that Bills game appears to have stuck in people's crawl).

I would go with Bengals cus' it's been so long and Browns ditto. Buffalo too for their fans sticking thru all these losing years. And the Cowboys who have peterted out too many times.

But all those aren't realistic except the cowboys.

I also get the Eagles too with all their near misses. Viking are in that league too.

But 3 is just too odd a number so 4 SBs for the Pats seems about right :)

How come you dislike Rodgers so much? I know you loved Favre but man, Rodgers is the best right now even when he has a stinker like vs the Bills.

Arizona or Detroit.

i could probably live with that, maybe buffalo as well. always felt like it was a shame they never won one under the jim kelly era. their fans kinda deserve it

it's as bad or worse than if the colts had never won one with manning, so we all nearly felt the pain they must have felt

anyone else wins it and i won't be too enthused, i could tolerate denver just for peytie-poo

    • I'm going to respectfully disagree here. I think, regardless of what the fans might think, their lack of FAs and re-signing all our own means the Colts believe this team is truly capable of making waves in 2024, being only 1 play away from a playoff birth/division title.    I think they believe that they are a couple pieces away but clearly need a top skill position wideout to pair with Pittman and Downs. Every pick after that is fillers, depth, and/or less important needs in their minds.    You could wind up being correct but I'm sticking with my trade up scenario where the only way I'm wrong is that we find out later, the Colts could not find a trade partner or that the trade partners really wanted to much in compensation.   I'm sticking with Colts trade to with Chargers and take Nabers at pick 5.
    • Latest update not encouraging? Where's that at? Wasn't in that article.     Everything I have seen, has shown some athleticism has already started to come back.     I posted a couple rehab videos somewhere a month ago or so.   He is already dunking and looked very quick on take off and on his straight line running.   Can't remember if there was a change of direction in the the video but I think there was that as well.     Saying that, I think we still bring in a CB, but everything I have seen has been encouraging in regards to rehab.
    • Steelers picking at No.20 probably want him to get past Bengals and Jaguars so that they can draft Adonai Mitchell, so could be an article blessed by the organization too
    • I think we stay at 15, hope Bowers is there but dont think he will be. With latest update not encouraging that Flowers will be ready seems like Corner more likely to be taken over WR.  First round corner paired with Brents with Jones first corner off the bench should yield better results then last season.   ttps://www.aol.com/cb-dallis-flowers-rehabbing-achilles-084056300.htm
    • I think the draft falls this way:   1) Bears: Caleb 2) Commanders: Daniels 3) Vikings (trade with Pats) Maye 4) Cardinals: MHJ 5) Colts (trade with Chargers) Nabers   Reason for my top 5 is that I think the Patriots really like McCarthy, coupled with the Brady/McCarthy Michigan thing plus the Pats need more player help, it makes sense for the Pats to trade back to 11 but still be in front of the Raiders and Broncos to get their QB   Colts trade up reason: I think the Chargers need O-line help as well as other players like WR, however I believe the Chargers can still get a top LT at 15 and WR late in round one or if they trade back into round one which I believe they will attempt to do in this scenario. Plus, the Harbough Indy connection makes this trade likely.   Even if the Commanders take Maye at 2, I still think the Vikings trade up and then grab Daniels. Pats take McCarthy.   I think this is the year the Colts finally will mortgage a little bit of the future for the wideout. I'm going to stick with this. I hope my gut is correct here, we'll see.
