12/7/11 Draft (Post Archie Comments)

Ok so in light of Archie's comments on how Manning and Luck can't coexist on the Colts, I made up a draft which would help out both the Colts and the Manning and Luck parties.

-Manning is traded to KC Chiefs after Peyton agrees to extend his trade window and rework his deal to where it doesnt handicap the Colts financially. (KC is willing to pay Manning his bonus in this deal so we wouldnt be on the hook for all of that 30 million dollars we would be penalized upon being traded.)

-KC gives us their 2012 1st round pick and gives us much needed cap relief in exchange for Manning.)

-Indy signs FA TE Jermichael Finley from GB because Clark is either released or restructures his deal. We need a young stud TE to partner with Luck)

1st overall pick- QB Andrew Luck (Obvious pick, can start day 1.)

1st(via trade-14th overall pick)- OG David DeCastro (Luck would be exstatic to get him here, and this makes our OL very talented by adding this stud OG.)

2nd- S TJ Mcdonald (Gives us a very good SS to play back there with Bethea and give us a good safety tandem once again.)

3rd- CB Jayron Hosley (We need another good Corner opposite Powers and this addition with Poe makes our defense much better.)

4th- NT Dontari Poe

5th- Best WR available

6th- Best DE available

7th- Best LB available

Hosley in the 3rd round is possible but unlikely in my opinion. However, and I'm simply curious as to your reasoning, how does Poe last until round 4?

Hmmm do you have a source on this? Nobody knows except for the front office exactly whats going to happen. Im just saying trading Peyton COULD happen.

I agree it could happen but i just think Polian will want him to stay.
