Depends on if the coaches feel like having the team ready to play. I doubt it tho. Vini is like 1 of the best kickers in the league because all we do is go down the field and stall. We weren't ready to play coming out of a bye week....and still wasn't ready to play a week after that against a terrible team. Until we start to impose our will on teams like jax,the answer is no. We have never drafted well either. We never find any lost gems like other teams do. Seattle found Wilson and won the whole bowl with him. Gray went for 4 tds on us. Our drafting sucks big time. Anybody knew to pick luck....talking about our other moves. Year after year. Then we sit there and watch all kinds of other guys get signed like ware, talib and revis....good teams know to jump on opportunities like that. We always stand by, watch and sign a mediocre player after they all go to other teams. Every year. We need all these factors to win. I miss freeney and bethea so bad.

Tell me, how often does Brady throw 4 picks in a playoff game?

Well here's one:

Foxboro, MA (Sports Network) - Ray Rice set the tone on the first play from scrimmage, sprinting for an 83-yard touchdown run, as the Baltimore Ravens took advantage of four Tom Brady turnovers and used a dominant first quarter to post a 33-14 win over the New England Patriots in an AFC wild card game at Gillette Stadium.

Not sure if they were all picks, but turnovers are turnovers.

Lucks only been in the playoffs twice being forced to throw the ball 41 to 55 times per game in all of the losses.  Besides the fact that Brady is no rookie or third year player, when has Tom had to do that?

Exactly. Why continue to come back to this forum and make us seem worse? That's like us going over to the Jags or Titans forum and telling them how awful they are. Like what's the point?

There's plenty of Colts fans at Patsplanet many from this forum in fact. They are treated very well as friends and guest. Don't confuse reality with hostility.

Between the Broncos, Colts, and the Patriots your basically just flipping a coin.

No.  Not even close - did you watch the games against Denver and the Pats?

If a team gets hot at the right time, anything is possible and has been proven so.  But the suggestion that Colts would enter the playoffs as equals to Denver and the Pats is just not accurate.

The Colts can keep up with the Broncos and have a good chance of winning actually. As for the Pats they are really hot right now, they will cool and become beatable again and even with the colts defense playing awful in that game we still kept up with the Pats till the 4th.

How about his very first playoff game?  ;)

Stats in the "Snow Bowl" vs. the Raiders:

52 attempts, 32 completions, 312 yards, 238 of which came in the second half.

(EDIT: Oh and it was snowing, btw...  )

I think maybe he was thinking Brady had a little more of a defense behind him ?

You got me on that one!  Pats should have lost that game to be honest. Saved by the Tuck Rule

If the Colts can ever play some darn run defense against the Pats, and get something out of the running game on offense these games would be different stories.  I don't see anybody other than the Steelers(maybe the Dolphins) that is going to stop a second meeting between Colts Vs Pats in the playoffs.  The games seem to be closely contested down to the 4th quarter despite the undesirable stuff we show on our end.  It's always stuff that falls apart late for us that makes it look like we just got whipped.  I think we just need to clean up our game just a bit.  Got to be sound against those guys!

He threw 51 times in the Oakland tuck game (year 1) and 48 times in the Carolina SB (year 2), 48 times in one of the NYG SB's and there has been quite a few more in the 40's.

As we stand today, I believe the Colts have a very legitimate chance to win the SB!!  Even after being dismantled by the Patriots a week ago.  However, it will take 2 things:

1.  The interior offensive line to play like NFL professionals, not the inexperienced rookie's/2nd year players that the are

2.  If our defensive line can stop power running teams, because the weather will be getting bad and more likely will see more runs.

IF they can do both, then I think they have as good of a chance as anybody else.  If not, then better luck next year!

Again, no examples , thanks. No examples of bashing the Colts.

Not the place for it but since you asked,

• Besides, when was the last time a #1 offense won the SB?

• Tell me, how often does Brady throw 4 picks in a playoff game?

If Sergio taunted Gronk about how he broke his arm, I have no problem with Gronk's response.

(then the hypocritical response)

Wishing injuries on players ? Sergio was trash talking all game, gets owned, talks more trash, and then gets trucked for running his mouth. You reap what you sow.

• *yawn* And Andrew Luck is an INT machine every time he plays the Patriots.

• How amusing. A doll owns the Geico Cave Man.

• Fact: Luck has drastically hurt the Colts in their playoff losses. Brady NEVER did that in his early years. He was/is a much better playoff QB than Luck.

• Great? Colts defense is mediocre at best.

• The Colts never had a nationwide following. Not at all.

• Maybe because I'm not a Colts... Er... broncos... fan, one of the legion of bandwagon fans.

It's just the overall way that you seem to respond to members on the board. Sarcastic and talking down to members. Edging in New England comparisons comments into threads on a Colts forum.

Your definition of "bashing" certainly is broad. The only close one is the INT machine comment. The rest are virtual facts.

Just because you disagree with a fact does not make it "bashing."

Or calling Andrew Luck a Geico cave man.

It's all bashing because it's YOUR opinion. They're not necessarily facts.

    • You think the Ed Dodds you see in edited clips here is the same as the Ed Dodds who interviews with teams?   I don’t know you or anyone would think that?      He’s very much respected around the NFL which is why multiple teams ask to interview with them most every year.
    • Round 1 - #15 A. Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas B. Brian Thomas, WR, LSU C. Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia   Round 2 - #46  A. Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M B. Marshall Kneeland, DE, Western Michigan C. Jaden Hicks, S, Washington State   Round 3 - #82 A. Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon B. Darius Robinson, DE/DT, Missouri C. Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State   Round 4 - #117 A. Jalyx Hunt, DE, Houston Christian B. Mason McCormick, OG, South Dakota State C. Malik Washington, WR, Virginia   Round 5 - #151 A. Beaux Limmer, OC, Arkansas B. Tanor Bortolini, OC, Wisconsin C. Isaac Guerendo, RB, Louisville   Round 6 - #191 A. Decamerion Richardson, CB, Mississippi State B. Qwan'tez Stiggers, CB, Toronto C. Nick Gargiulo, OC, South Carolina   Round 7 - #234 A. Millard Bradford, SS, TCU B. Mark Perry, FS, TCU C. Dalton Tucker, OG, Marshall   BONUS: Will the Colts trade the #15 pick this year?  A: Yes, they will trade back.
    • Yeah... Richardson needs players who can separate and who can get open deep. IMO "give the inaccurate QB a contested catch receiver with large catch radius" is one of the tropes that hasn't proven to work well. Contested catches have about 50-55% success rate even with the best of contested catch receivers and with relatively accurate QBs... now if you think AR's accuracy is not good, drop that rate even more. The best way to give a relatively inaccurate QB better chance to complete passes is to give him a WR who separates and and who is open so the QB would have more of a margin for error to throw the ball a little behind or ahead or a little higher or lower than ideal. (we are not talking about uncatchable balls here... those will be uncatchable for anyone really). In that regard, one thing I would agree about is - we need WRs who have good hands and have good ball skills.   And this is ignoring that AR has indeed been pretty good with his accuracy on passes at intermediate and long range. His biggest problem coming into the league was the short stuff and he was already showing improvements in that deparment before he got injured.    And Worthy is the WR who created the most separation from anybody in this draft :
    • Richardson  accuracy  on deep balls is his strength.  Hence why you pair an elite deep threat in worthy.
