Nicks can't create any separation. And he's slow out of his breaks. But that pick 6 was on Luck. Luck could've thrown 4 picks today if the defense had hands.

Luck just tries to do too much. Its the gift and the curse. He needs to learn how to tone it down man. He's a talent and brought us back. But he also lost us the game with the key turn overs.

Sorry, but a QB doesn't lose you a game when you give up 51 points and allow Big Ben to be the 1st person in NFL history with two 500+ yard games.

We lost this game because our coverage was weak and our QB pressure was equally weak.  There's no two ways about it, we lost because our defense didn't even begin to slow down Ben.

Our defense is what caused the turnovers to bring us back in the game. You can't throw a pick

Sorry, but our defense is what brought us back into the game with the turnovers. Offense was off early. You can stare down a receiver and not expect a pick 6. You can't hold onto the ball when you know your offensive line can't slow down the blitz. And you have to be smart situationally especially near the opponents goal line.

Like I said i think Andrew tries to do too much. Its the gift and the curse. You just have to learn balance and live to play another down.

I cheered for him quite a bit earlier and up to this point, but I now give up. Moncrief certainly must get all of his snaps now. Even Whalen put up a better performance.

Yeah I was in the same boat as you. I was excites to hear that the Colts had signed Nicks in the off season. I was also really cheering and looking forward to his play but after In clearly see Moncriefs needs to be elevated on the depth chart!

Moncrief has proven himself at this point.  Nicks can go ahead and take a seat.

Maybe he can split time with Whalen as the 5th receiver or something. Whalen

actually out performed Nicks today as well.  Griff is usually productive on the

offense, but he adds zero to the special teams.  Hopefully we'll put Demps in

for him there.

not only that but he set a franchise record with six passing tds defense had zero pass rush on him plus he becomes one of three qbs to win first 100 games

Hate to break it to a lot of folks here,  but Nicks doesn't have much trade value.

While he may not be our #3 WR anymore,  it's still a long season and he's still got value as a #4.    We will likely still need him in games to come.

No need to dump him now.    We'll get next to nothing for him and we still need him.

Yeah, Luck tried to do too much... He put up 34 points with absolutely no one blocking for him while trying to make a comeback while his defense played about as bad as a defense could (and Big Ben played terrific).

I have no problem putting the blame on Luck when it's deserved, but If you in anyway try and put this loss on Luck then you're a bonehead, quite frankly.

Edit: LOL at the defense brought us back into the game. They gave up 43 points. We wouldn't have been in the game if Luck didn't sling it like he did (while getting hit almost every drop back). He "tries to do too much"... WTH do you expect him to do when the Steelers were putting up points (7, usually)) on every drive? Utter nonsense.

He also didn't come back to it when Luck tried to avoid the safety and threw it in his direction. That one really annoyed me.

He was running his route, how was he suppose to know Andrew fell down and needed someone close to the ball? The guy wasn't good today but at least don't blame him for non-sense.

The only half way decent game nicks had was against New York in preseason so he should go bye bye we can pick p another receiver in the draft next year if Reggie returns we go Wayne Hilton moncreif third if not we go Hilton moncreif and who ever wins the third spot

What do I expect him to do? His job genius. Make better decisions. 2 picks and a safety. How many points does that add up 2? Exactly puts us right in the game.

Nicks is alright he can still make those crazy catches (that sideline catch was sick) I don't know what it is but maybe it's the playcalling he doesn't run slants like he used to but I'm still wait until the end of the end of season to say whether he should be cut or resigned
