I am with you Uncle I think I can find a couple of better plays on the board this week. I do think we will win the game. Pitt as a home dog makes me nervous. They are on short week after jacking the Texans.

I dont see the problem. this isnt the same steeler defense of years past. theres nothing about their defense that scares you. their old and average. luck and the offense wont have any problems. 31-17

Texans were up big to them last week, and the Browns blew them out of the water. Unless the team shoots themselves in the foot then there is no reason the Colts shouldn't win this one.

That defense is vulnerable. I will say this- it will be an erratic game. The Steelers are still volatile on both sides of the ball. They can be pronounced dead on defense and then hit you with the big play. Likewise, their offense can range from dull and comatose to formidable. Never know what team your gonna get...

This game really does not worry me at all. The steelers are a bad team that would have lost to Houston if not for a comedy of errors by the Texans at the end of the half. A clean game and we should win comfortably.

I think the Steelers are going to really try to force the running game on us.  I don't think they want to put Big Ben in a situation where he has to throw a lot behind that bad offensive line.  They have the film of what Blount did to us in the playoffs so we'll probably see a lot of him and Bell.  Unfortunately they are going to find out that this isn't the same team from the Patriots game. 

 

If they can't get any pass rush on us I think we'll see us holding the ball for 37 to 40 minutes of the game with a final score of 30 to 17 or so.

I don't buy it at all Ben is on pace to break a Farve record much like like Manning but not a good one most sacks in a career . If he was that hard to take down that would not be a record he would be on pace to break soon .

A lot of those are from batted balls 5 to be exact. They still count, but if the line can keep players from getting that close to our quarterback then he should be able to shred the Steelers defense which is mediocre at best. Looking at the stats I hope Bradshaw & comapany run over them too.

This is a really cool football day! I can't believe I'm sitting here at 7:28 AM in Houston, Texas and there will be a live NFL game on in exactly one hour.   Falcons(I'm from ATL so I'm a Falcons fan too) vs. Lions is being played from London so the game comes on very early in the United States.   And then after that there will be the customary 12:00/1:00 games, and of course that leads into Colts vs Steelers at 3:30/4:30 which can't get here fast enough.  And finally there is the Sunday Night Football game!  That's 4 full football games I can watch in entirety today.  I guess this is one benefit of having an International game, I can start my football watching early!

Agreed. The line needs to do a better job at tying up the defensive line.
