1 p.m. EST....FOX..

long-range weather.....Low 50s,....slight chance of rain..over-under 50...

Bears top draft choice Kyle Fuller - CB doubtful (broken hand),LB - Jonothan Bostic (questionable) back.

Jerod Mayo (LB) out for the season for NE..

/////Near must game for the 3-4 Bears who play at Green Bay next. at 3-6 the season would be over for the Bears. Bears are 0-3 at home BUT 3-1 on the road.

Premier matchup of Patriot CBs Brandon Browner and Darrelle Revis against Bears WRs Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery

6 1/2 is a lot for team that has ONLY won on the road. Bears are a strange team

Brady has a sick overall record against the NFC and I believe the last time he faced the bears it was in Chicago in a blizzard and he shredded them 36-7 and they had a top ranked D back then.

Hard to pin point what is wrong with the Bears but Cutler seems to be back to throwing his picks at inopportune times but overall their defense is just not good anymore - 22 in points allowed. Probably a result of now having an offensive minded HC. I think the 61/2 is low so I would take the Pats and the over.

Nobody went 'WOAH' after they crept past the Jets. Any win is good, but this was not a woah win. Not even close.

Pssst. Speak for yourself. Any win over the Jets is a WOAH win as they are the most hated team here in NE. When you only possess the ball 19 minutes and get to see Rex Ryan throw a tantrum after Amendola made his first and only TD catch of the season for the win, it is a good week in NE. Trust me. ;)

TOP of 19 mins makes it less of a woah win, but I see where you are coming from. Perhaps it is more of a 'yeehah' win though?

The Patriots have, in the somewhat recent past, owned Chicago.

I think they also have a little advantage with McDaniels' familiarity with Cutler, what he likes and doesn't like, etc.

I can still see this being a tough game though. If Chicago is smart and actually runs the ball a little, they will keep it close. If they throw it all over the field, I actually like NE's chances better. How can you not at least try to run it on the Patriots right now though? They made Chris Ivory look like an All-Pro last week.

Side note: Is Jay Cutler actually a worse QB when he gets time to throw? Seems to me he is. And that's such a weird juxtaposition of how it normally works...

Sadly, history suggests you are as right as Rush on this one

The interview I saw on the NFL's website with Brandon Marshal when asked by Boomer Esiason "Is there something between you and your quarterback" he said, and I quote: "I have a really nice condo, and Jay Cutler built that condo... so we are great." If you ask me that sounds like they are not on the best of terms right now. This Bears team is dysfunctional at best, and I think that is a recipe for disaster.

That quote is really odd.

Probably does not help that Revis has owned Marshall throughout their careers.

Depends on what Pats team shows up if it's the ones that let Ivory run all over them and made Geno look like a good QB they will loose and loose big Forte will have 150 plus a few Td's Cutler will have a field day .

I disagree.  I think they will tight and tight big.

I can't figure out what is wrong with the Bears exactly. They have to the the #1 team to have either a ridiculously talented defense or offensive every season and somehow squander it away to miss the post-season. They are really going to regret that big contract they gave Cutler. Everyone saw last year how that offense hummed under the back up.

The Bears might have more of a chance since they're on the road. So far, they lost all their home games. New England hasn't always played great football, even with their victories. I don't now what is wrong with Chicago;  much of the blame seems to be on Jay Cutler. One of my co-workers is a Bears fan, and he can't figure it out.

It's Jay Cutler... even Urlacher is willing to say it!

Supremely talented, but the NFL isn't a talent contest.

Yeah. He supported Jay when he was his teammate but it is pretty obvious now. The guy just can't get it done. Even when he is not pressured he makes bad decisions. I always feel like he steps onto the field wanted to show off his arm strength.

Right on with the bold text, it's almost the opposite of every other QB... when Cutler has more time, I think that's actually WORSE for him somehow, lol...

He seems to play his best when they call quick passes. If he's got time, it's almost as if he feels he can squeeze the ball into any window. And then he makes bad decisions.

What an arm though. Dang.
