He sounds like he's reading a thick book!  There's so much to talk about it's like it takes him forever to get through what is challeging about the Colts.

I think this is going to be a very high spirited and hard nosed game.  Just a feeling.

It could be a close game, but i think Colts could pitch another blowout...

I agree, but for some reason I'm more nervous about this one than the Bengals.

I'm having nightmares of us not being able to stop Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell.

Big Ben is hard to sack and doesn't get rattled.

The Steelers defense has seen way better days.

If we don't turn the ball over we'll win by 14+.

I think we'll be fine on both fronts.  We get Art Jones back this week to help solidify the run even more than it already is, plus the Steelers still have problems blocking people on the offensive line so I expect us to have pressure on Big Bens' behind. Plus they still have problems generating a pass rush so I think we'll do pretty well on offense as usual.

My main concern is Luck not throwing any bad interceptions.  Turnovers are one area that we really need to clean some things up. I think we'll beat them soundly as long as we don't turn the ball over.

It's a favorable matchup when it comes to the passing game. Their best corner is who, Ike Taylor? Not sure who on the Colt's he thinks he can cover. Polomalu is the guy to watch for though. Still makes plays despite his age.

I think Taylor is injured.  The two starters are William Gay and Bryce Mcain(used to be with the Texans)

Thought this post was funny on the Steelers message board:

By few, if any metrics.

The Colts scare the crap out of me and I just ate Indian food.

Here's my analysis on this game. We have to stop leveon bell and antonio brown. If we stop 1 or both, we can win. if they get them both going against us though, we are in serious trouble. It's going to be on Vontae and the D-Line to win this for us. We know Luck and the Offense will do their job.

We should win this one as long as we can keep from turning the ball over multiple times

and I would guess we sack Toothlessberger at least 4 times.

Roethlisberger is one those qbs who scrambles well and has the size to avoid getting sacked, yet he gets sacked a lot. Not sure if that's due to a poor O-Line or because Roethlisberger stands in the pocket too long. If it's because of the O-Line, I think we could get 5 sacks this game. Ben is big, but we sacked Dalton 4 times when he only got sacked twice all year to that point. We need to keep the pressure on him and we'll either take him down or force him to throw an INT or two Sunday.

I like Mike Tomlin. He's a straight shooter & never bashes any opponent he faces. He covered all the bases...Luck, Fleener, TR, Bradshaw, Toler, Davis, Jackson, Freeman, Mcafee, Adam V.

I don't see the Steelers making the playoffs this year because any squad can move the ball against Pittsburgh. I just hope the Rooney family doesn't fire Mike after this season.

The feared Steel Curtain is gone now. INDY 38 Pittsburgh 17

I think it'll be close.

If this was home it'd be a blow out, but at Pittsburgh... I think it'll be a close one with a Colts win.

I never understand this mindset: Home field advantage vs behind enemy lines CW. Football is football. I don't give a darn where you play it. The rules are the same on both sides & if your team moves the ball any crowd shuts up real quick. JMO.

Has any reporter talked to WR Darius Hayward Bey yet regarding if he views this matchup as a revenge game or not since INDY cut him loose & didn't resign him?

Please God don't let this man play spoiler on us this weekend. DHB is strange that way. Just when you dismiss him completely, he actually shows up & catches a critical ball or 2.

Off topic: Has Jim Irsay looked into marketing Andrew Luck's call at the line of scrimmage on t-shirts etc. etc? I am referring to the "Let it roll, let it roll, Let it roll!" slogan.

I'd buy one along with a Chewbacca Andrew Luck neck beard t-shirt. Okay, back on topic...

Shouldve bolded or capitalized the COULD & BUT in my post, thatve made it a better, no?

Okay, you did actually use those words Buck. My bad. SW1 read your post too fast. I got a pretty good chuckle out of it anyway.

That says more about me than you. Mostly, that I am sarcastic by nature & that my proof reading/attention to detail gets sloppy when I'm tired. Take a bow man. It was still funny to me anyway.  :hat:

Absolutely Buck. I'd agree with that assessment 100% My best friends on here have a great sense of humor & they all possess the same characteristic: Saying whatever pops into their head at any given moment regardless of their surroundings.

The secret to superb stand up is not really the jokes but how the comedian delivers the actual joke. Writing is vital yes, but the way in which the messenger unleashes the punchline to their audience means everything.

Translation: Be a phenomenal storyteller & any comedian will become legendary. Writing can be improved upon, but a pathetic delivery cannot. You can either deliver a punchline or you can't.

I'm sure your buddy appreciates your insights or comic slant on things. You're good at it.

two guys will be crucial to this game: Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell. It would be awesome if Vontae could stop Brown's 5 catch 50 yard streak. And along with Heath Miller, the linebackers have to limit Bell's yards in the passing game. Luck also needs to use Cortez Allen as a whipping boy.
