I liked him last yr, I could see the talent and potential. He may never be a pro bowler but I think he's been pretty awesome this yr. just needs to work on securing the ball when fighting for those last few yards.

No, just needs to go down & accept defeat

You fumble the easiest when you're trying to do too much. There's no reason to fight anymore when there's 3+ defenders on/around you. Fall to the ground and get ready for the next play

And if you can't fall, stop fighting so the refs blow the whislte signaling the forward progress has stoppes

If we were talking about Donald Brown a yr ago I'd agree but I've seen TRich drag a few defenders for extra yards. I'm just saying he needs to protect the ball with both hands when he does this.

He's not really a fumbler.. I'm fine with what he does because he'll usually hold on to the ball.

The rough and grungy style reminds me of the tumbler from the dark knight. It's the way I see Richardson when he runs on the field.

Didn't you just criticize Fleener for being soft because he didn't fight for the extra yards citing the play where he opted to duck out of bounds instead of running the guy over? I mean, of all people that should fight for extra yards, the RB is that guy.  I get not fighting for yards after you've been stopped, but it feels like you're applying one standard to Fleener and a different standard to others.

And no I'm not saying that. Example: The Denver game last year at LOS. Richardson's fumble when half the Denver defense was on him. At that point go down or stop moving. He instead kept fighting and fumbled the ball.

Fleener was ONE on ONE with a CB (believe it was McCourty) and ran out of bounds.... That's being soft

Fair enough.  I still think it's kind of petty to criticize Fleener for being soft in that regard.  That would make TY Hilton soft, as well as Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison.  All of them, as well as Fleener have their moments where they go to the ground or out of bounds when they could have fought for more yards, and they've had moments where they've done the opposite.

Fleener is 6'6 200+lbs!

He should be our version of Jimmy Graham as I've said numerous times before.

I don't mind him avoiding hits from some of the LB's like the big name ones but if he's 1 on 1 with a CB, Safety, or a low-tier LB ..... He should be knocking them boys over 9times out of 10 (results may vary)

You do realize that there is 16 running backs in the league with 2 fumbles. Theres 3 running backs with 3 fumbles. One of which leads the league in yards which is demarrco Murray.. im tired of people talkin about trich fumbling but yet praise backs that have more fumbles.

Edit: Do you realize andrew luck has more fumbles then trich?.. oh yeah and demarrco Murray has 4 fumbles not 3.. sorry
