Here are the ranks of the top 50 rookies (drafted and undrafted together) of 2014 through 4 games. Jack Mewhort has cracked the top 10 by moving up from 11 to 9. Also Zach Kerr moved up from 39 to 35 in his pursuit to move into the first round of rookies. Mewhort is still the no2 Guard drafted this year behind Joel Botinio who is the top overall rookie and Zach Kerr is holding down his spot as the number 1 DE rookie this year. All the stats are in the link above, tell me what you think!

Here is a question maybe some people can weigh in on.

Does Zach Kerr look like a guy who might be able to be a starter on the D-line next year or will he always be a rotational player.

We're likely losing Redding after this season.  He thought about giving it up after last season so I'm thinking he's probably done after this season.

So for next year we have in terms of defensive ends.  Art Jones, RJF, and Kerr.  Can Kerr with a year under his belt beat RJF out to start?

Kerr is to the point where I'm trusting him. He's not as good as RJF yet, but I think he will grow a lot this year. He can get pressure on the qb, stop the run. He's a solid 3/4 DE that can at least split playing time. I think he can start for sure, he was a hidden gem. He's better than a rotational player. If he has full playing time, he can be a staple on our D-Line for years to come.

Id want Kerr at NT personally. He has shown good run stopping ability and pass rush for a big guy (i think he's around 330 or 340). Chapman isn't bad but I think Kerr is a more complete player.
