I havn't been watching the Dolphins but has he been playing very poorly?

 

Played well enough to beat the Pats . . . so it seems to me that the most bad games he could have had is 2.

 

Awefully early to be benching a guy who was considered your franchise QB and has played pretty well in the past.

Matt Moore . He's been there 4 years and started 12 games in 2011. Has only played a few downs since RT was drafted in 2012.

Tannehill must like playing the Patriots. He always looks like a future Hall of Famer when he plays us! 

 

Usually by this point you have an idea of whether or not a guy "has it." They must not have a lot of faith in the guy if they're pulling the plug on him already.

Looking at his stats from the last 3 games, he hasn't had really great games but they arn't the type of games that I would think you would bench a guy who was a secure starter.

 

Very odd and IMO impulsive to consider benching him.

They're not going to fire a brand new HC, especially when they are getting great results so far....except in win loss ratio.

Yeah, he is the assistant to your HC Pagano now. He was fired after 4-12, not sure what their reasoning was. In any case I wouldn't expect them to pull that twice in as many years.

I didn't like Tannehill at the draft and he's done nothing to impress me.  I thought he was a 2nd round pick at best, but they took him at 8th overall.  He hasn't been playing QB as long as some of these other guys.  That's why the Dolphins are the Dolphins, I guess

Last week I took a deep dive into some Dolphins games. He is every bit as bad right now as it seems. Accuracy is just terrible. Here is an example.

The Dolphins looked good in the first game but that team in t-r-o-u-b-l-e. I think Regis Philbin would have been a better coach down in Miami but Lovie Smith might be his biggest challenger for first man out because there is something in the water in Florida to make people run away. Fast. At least Tanny has a hot wife.
