I don't understand all the dislike for Shipley. I thought he did a heck of a job last week for having only been in the offense for 3 days. He's better than what we had last year. I know we all want Khaled, but Shipley has proven to be a valuable asset for us, at the very least.

no Harrison or Holmes as both are inactive. Who else can step in a play center if need be?

If Shipley goes down I guess it is Mewhort. Hope he has practiced at center a lot. Though Shipley has proven to be pretty durable so far. Hopefully that continues tonight.

I would get use to watching Shipley play C and hope that Harrison can develop into our future C.

I see absolutely no reason to have much hope that Holmes will stay healthy. History is a pretty good indicator of what the future holds. You have a guy who struggled to stay healthy vs inferior competition now vs the big boys this will be his 20th straight game he has missed including the playoffs. He hasn't made it out of camp in 2 yrs for gods sake
