Question of the Day 09/13 - MNF Vs Eagles

   Which individual unit for the Colts needs to "step up" the MOST on Monday night to defeat the Eagles in primetime ??

I thought the run defense was pretty good last week. I'd say the defensive backs need to really step up. Especially Laron Landry, if he's matched up with a tight end. He might wanna try just a tad. It'd be more than last week on Orange Julius's 3rd touchdown.

 

While the Eagles run game is their biggest threat, even more so considering the Colts weakness to scat backs, I know we'd all hate to see Maclin get behind the defense like he did verus Jacksonville during their comeback.

Pat McAfee on special teams needs to pin the Eagles deep every chance he punts the ball. Make Darren Sproles & Lesean MCcoy earn every inch of real estate they get Monday night.

I was going to say offensive line, to get the run game going, but yeah that was heartbreaking.  Cannot afford that many dropped passes against an offensive team like Eagles.  They need to keep offensive possesion to prevent the defense from getting worn out and this would make a big difference.   So yeah receivers for sure.  But better offensive playcalling would help too, gave up on the run too early in the last game and this game would be one a solid running game would help a lot to keep the Eagles offense off the field.

Doesn't really matter, just need to score TDs in the red zone, Eagles can care less about time of possession
