Is he making any? I was under the impression this guy was a mauler coming out of college and would improve our run blocking more so than our pass blocking. Yet I have not seen that from him. Is he dealing with an injury that's limiting him or is he still not developed?

We will know Sunday night. He can stay on the field that makes him better than half the offensive lineman on the team

I think he's dealing with health issues....

 

He has missed a fair amount of practice with issues that have not been made clear.

 

Hopefully, he can answer the bell Sunday and the rest of the season as well.

Regular season hasn't started.. he's the only o lineman I haven't heard mentioned. That sounds good to me.

There isn't much to go on this time of year to provide a concrete answer to your question.  However, the information we do have from PFF ratings indicated he played very well against the Saints.....so there is that.

He played very well in the preseason games I watched.  Still struggles to get position when a defender is lined up directly over him but even in that situation he would hold his ground.  I don't recall any times where he got beat but I did miss some plays here and there.

His test comes this weekend so we shall certainly find, out im sure he will perform better than expected.

 He stayed in front of his man a little better, and hopefully he will improve his blocking on pulls.
 I didn`t notice any meaningful Jump in his skill level. ;-(
 Another season of starting should help him a lot.
