I'm patient, but perhaps he's waiting until we play a few regular season games to justify how we are playing.. No need to make a trade until you at least see what you have on the plate first.

No need to make a trade at all.  Just a signing...Incognito.  Let's hold on to our drafts picks for a change if  possible.

kinda surprised we didn't grab Duke Ihenscho Safety from Denver.. guess they don't think he is any better than what we have

We didn't have a chance to get duke. Washington claimed him off waivers and they would have had priority over the Colts due to last year's record.

Yeah, one will really help. How about signing five or six and fixing this problem instead of just applying temporary patches?

he drafted 4 olineman in the last two drafts. he signed one of the best RTs in the game. what else do you want

I want to see Luck not taking those big hits and being protected. Too early to say about the draft picks other that where was all of that three years ago.?

you mean our first draft? we got luck weapons. also we had a lot of dead money from cutting a lot of our old players so our cap was limited not to mention indy wasnt exactly the ideal landing spot after 2011

He could have drafted four pro bowl linemen and signed Mack.

Of course, I'm being sarcastic. But I did want Grigs to go after proven Oline FAs. I'm mature enough to admit that I don't have anywhere near the insight of the team that he does. He saw Holmes every day, he must have thought he was coming along fine.

What I can't believe is that we're going into the Denver game with ONE healthy backup O lineman?

No, I was joking about Mack. Although I did want Grigs to go after the best FAs. Like I said, he knows better than any of us how to build a team. And we all know that not every move is going to work.

I get a kick out of the people that post things like "I'm sick and tired of having a bad line! " or "Grigs needs to get better players!" As if they're the only ones to know the line isn't good and it's a personal offense to them. Or that it's so easy to do.

I'm hoping they're young kids who don't know any better. I'd hate to think they're adults.

It's also up to our coaching to coach up said players. Also to run plays and offensive line schemes that would out them in the best position to get the job done. What I don't like is the this is what we do take it or leave it crap. One thing I can appreciate about BB. He will attack and game plan your weakness on D and strength on O.

Our primary running back (Trent) can't seem to do anything unless the Oline opens up a hole to run through.  And that isn't happening all that often so I'd say improving the Oline is necessary to improve the ground game.

The tackles are fine...it's the interior where the Colts have been hurting.  I suspect Griggs will wait to see how the line performs with A.Q. Shippley or maybe a healthy Holmes and Mewhort before making any major adjustments/additions there.
