Pick two.

AJ Green @NO

Golden Tate @Ari

Mike Wallace vs Buf

Philip rivers vs Oak

Or

Stafford @Oak

I'd go with AJ Green and Golden Tate

I'd actually go with Rivers.  He's had 2 weeks to think about this craptastic performance against the Dolphins.  Having Oakland at home, he's ripe to take out his frustrations on them.  I'll be seriously surprised if Rivers doesn't throw for 4 TD's or more.

Stafford's matchup is fine, nothing wrong with it, but if I had Rivers I'd be playing him.  Because if he's any good at all he's gonna put up a big stat line against the hapless Raiders.

That's what I was thinking but that Stafford, Tate, and CJ combo is super tempting.

Yeah, I have Stafford, he's been decent, but I'd still go with Rivers with this matchup if I had the choice.  Tough call but I'd lean towards Rivers because A. It's Oakland  B. It's at home  C. Rivers just got embarrassed 2 weeks ago.

I thought the same about Matt Ryan too, he came out of the bye and stunk it up for me vs the Bucs. He has cost me so many games this year in a particular league where I have lost 3 games by 5 points or less.

Peyton and Rodgers were however sharp coming out of their bye week. So, it just boils down to their O-lines and pass protection. We will see this weekend with Brady and Luck.

After picking Hill over McKinnon, news came out that Foster may not be able to play for the Texans this week; he's a game time decision.  That would give Alfred Blue the starting job for Houston against a really bad Browns run defense.  Should I pick up and start Blue?  Hill is playing the Saints, who are 11th in the league in run defense.

Never heard of blue. If you trust him to perform. But look at how good the Bengals have been in run blocking and then look to see how well the Saints have done against teams of comparable skill. They may not trust blue and go to passing more.

It's a risk but the Falcons are just not a good team this year.  Chargers where looking like a good team for a while.

Problem is if he doesn't start then you are screwed unless Blue managed to vulture a TD off Foster.  I tend to play it conservatively with the whole injury thing ever since Rotoworld assured me that Roddy White was going to play and then I tune into Thursday night football and see Roddy White standing on the sidelines in street clothes.

Sounds good.  I'll stick with Hill.  Thanks!

Blue stinks

He probably does, when compared to Arian Foster. Texans with Mallet will still be a mystery.

However, when my options are either Alfred Blue or Trent Richardson for 3rd RB with me already having played one on TNF, I am going with Blue over Richardson.

Fair enough.  let me know how they all turn out.

Should have listened to you and played Mike Evans over C.J.Anderson for FLEX. I didn't think he would reproduce that kind of performance yet again. That probably might end up making the difference of about 20 points, the difference between winning and losing my matchup this week :(.

Getting an early start. John Brown, Malcom Floyd, Vincent Jackson, or Andrew Hawkins for a flex WR spot? I've already got Brown on my team, but the Seahawks matchup is not particularly favorable.

Add Reggie Wayne and Steven Smith Sr. to that mix as well. There are some tasty matchups with that bunch, but they're all hit or miss.

My good luck. I had a 36 pt. lead going in with my opponent having Big Ben, Martavis Bryant and Heath Miller to go. Thanks to handing it off to Leveon Bell, I won that matchup but in another game, thanks to Leveon Bell, I lost by 2.

Can't win them all, oh well :).

Hawkins. 2 weeks I haven't played him and two weeks I regret it. I don't think Gordon will affect him that much this game.

Jay Cutler vs TB    OR    Tom Brady vs Det.   -   Currently going with Cutler

Andrew Hawkins @ Atl    OR    K. Wright @Phi    OR    R. Mathews vs StL    -    Currently going with Hawkins

T. Kelce @Oak    OR   Fleener vs Jax  (Both projected the same points, and Allen could be back in)

Right now im going with my feelings on Hawkins and not worrying about Gordon affecting him.  Though i think K. Wright has a decent matchup, his projections far exceed his production as of late.  Obviously if Mathews is hurt, he wont play, but he is projected pretty good against StL.  I havent been keep track of StL run D but i dont think it is a good matchup so probably not.

Tom Brady is at home and the Lions have a good run D.  Could make him put up some volume.  Jay Cutler has a pretty easy matchup i think

League 2

Rivers vs Stl    OR   Stafford @NE   -  Currently using Rivers

Pick 2:

Hawkins  @Atl,    Wallace  @Den,   G. Tate @NE

Trying to overtake 1st place this week!!! I feel like the below is a good problem to have.

Need to start two WRs:

Dez Bryant @ Giants

Randall Cobb @ Vikings

Josh Gordon @ Falcons

ODell Beckham vs. Cowboys

Need to start 2 RBs:

Lesean McCoy vs. Titans

Rashad Jennings vs. Cowboys

C.J. Anderson vs. Dolphins

Gio Bernard @ Texans

Justin Forsett @ Saints

Also need one flex out of the above players too!!!

Don't risk it with Gordon. Don't go with Jennings either. Forsett should be a sure start. Then basically it's your pick. 2/3 RB's left. Possibly ODB as flex.

Jay Cutler vs TB (Lovie and Josh McCown would love to stick it to Chicago and play zone to pick him off, I feel and make Forte win it if Cutler and Trestman are not foolish to keep throwing, they have held Matt Ryan and RG3 to just 1 TD each the last 2 games, the Bucs) OR Tom Brady vs Det. - Tom Brady will have to throw it. Lions are not like the Colts, their DL gets off blocks much better and the front 4 is the kind that will give Brady issues, much like the Giants DL and will stop the run easily. Brady will have to throw much more than the Colts game.

Andrew Hawkins @ Atl OR K. Wright @Phi OR R. Mathews vs StL - Currently going with Hawkins (Yes, Andrew Hawkins)

T. Kelce @Oak OR Fleener vs Jax (Both projected the same points, and Allen could be back in) (Kelce is all yahoo and KC Chiefs hype, Fleener is producing on the field and as long as Allen is somewhat hobbled, Fleener over Kelce till Kelce has one breakout game that he is yet to have and Raiders held Gates in check on the road)

Dez Bryant, Randall Cobb are primary WRs, OBJ as Flex

Who is the better guy to add between Coby Fleener and Owen Daniels?

Coby Fleener, no doubt. Owen Daniels is not like Dennis Pitta that can separate underneath, so the throws are always contested. Coby is showing more and more separation and as long as Hilton and Wayne are healthy, he will win more 1-on-1s as the season goes on.

Texans and Browns have generally been stingy vs TEs, Jags are generous, so Ravens and Colts having one game against each is a wash on TE production.

Teams that are different:

Coby Fleener - Matchups against Redskins, Titans, and Cowboys, these 3 teams give up top 14 most production to TEs, hard not to play him, IMO.

Owen Daniels - NO, SD, Miami all give up 10th least fewest or less production to TEs, Ravens play them.

So, based on strength of schedule, Coby Fleener, IMO.

T. Kelce @oak or M. Rivera vs. KC

I'd go with Kelce given the Raiders' offensive issues. Unless the Chiefs turn the ball over and give a short field, which they don't do much, Rivera is a red zone TD dependent FF producer.

Kelce seems to do better with Fasano in the line up, it seems like and Fasano is getting back in this week.

1 must win situation for me to make the playoffs:

QB: Tom Brady, Matt Ryan

RBs: Rashad Jennings, C.J.Anderson, Shane Vereen, Jerrick McKinnon

WRs: OBJ, Randall Cobb, Mike Evans, Percy Harvin

TE: Antonio Gates

D: Indianapolis

K: Matt Bryant

I am thinking this line up would work the best for me. Thoughts?

I just picked up Alfred Blue in the 10 team league. Do you still think the bolded will work?

It's worth taking the chance on blue over Jennings. Jennings just isn't doing much. Just keep an eye on foster.

Start 2 RBs between Joique Bell playing New England, Jerick McKinnon playing Green Bay, and Jeremy Hill (I currently have Hill and McKinnon, but Bell could be a good play against what has been an inconsistent New England run defense and Reggie Bush isn't expected to play)

Start 1 flex between Owen Daniels playing New Orleans, Eric Decker playing Buffalo, or Michael Floyd playing Seattle (Floyd's matchup isn't good, but he had 2 TDs last week, so perhaps Drew Stanton really likes him?  I want to lean towards Owen Daniels here simply because of his QB, but Decker gets a lot of targets too)

big decision to make the playoffs.

nelson vs pats

or

gordon vs bills

Gordon for sure if you had to choose. If not, both of them.

Tonight on MNF, Torrey Smith or Kenny Stills?

I need about 60 points and I have Drew Brees, Justin Forsett, Justin Tucker and a WR2 I need to choose from Torrey Smith/Kenny Stills. I am leaning towards Torrey Smith right now.
