Need to start two RBs:

Forsett @ Cincy

Gio vs. Ravens (hate to even consider benching him, but I hate this matchup)

Hillman vs. Chargers

Ingram vs. Packers

Tre Mason @ Chiefs

As a Gio owner, I'm benching him this week.  Mason also isn't highly involved in the passing game, so that brings you down to Forsett, Hillman, and Ingram.  The Bengals defense isn't what it used to be, so I would be comfortable starting Forsett.  The Packers run defense has been pretty bad, and with Pierre Thomas hurt, he could get some work in the passing game.  But Hillman is playing in an offense with Peyton Manning, and I'm not sure how the Chargers run defense is.  Forsett for sure, then a toss up between Hillman and Ingram

Also. Tom Brady vs Chicago

Or

Newton vs. Seattle

I don't think you can go wrong with either one.  For what it's worth, Cam is listed as a start 'em on NFL.com, but it seems to be more to the ineptitude of the Seattle defense as of now than Cam playing great.  Brady has had a few extra days to prepare for the Bears since he played last Thursday and he's been on fire the last few weeks; he's also playing a pretty bad Bears defense that was torched by Tannehill.  I would probably give Brady a slight margin

I'd take Brady easily.  Newton hasn't been playing that well and Seattle is still Seattle.  Their defense hasn't been playing like in 2013 but it's still strong.

Chicago on the other hand hasn't been playing that good.

M. Sanu vs. Bal. - I dont like this matcup and AJ Green may be back

E. Royal @ Den. -

K. Wright vs Hou. - Could be a good matchup, could be not. Idk. He had 18 points last week and is still leading in targets for them. But Jake Locker is coming back and could disrupt this.

A. Hawkins vs Oak - Had 5 receptions on 9 targets last week and 112 yards but no TD. Could be this

League 2

Having a hard time between these 3 and need 2.

Mike Wallace, Golden Tate, and AJ Green.

Wallace and Tate have been doing well and AJ could potentiall have a big game like normal, or could potentially do nothing on his first game back.

Any advice for these 2?

I'm pretty up in the air on the first ones.  My first thought is Eddie Royal, but I don't see one that really stands out.

In League 2 Tate and Green stand out.

Tate def. because Calvin Johnson is out, no question about him.  So to me it's Wallace vs. Green.  Green is the more talented receiver but coming off injury he's a bit of a risk and if Wallace has been on a roll then it may be good reason to go with Wallace.

Jets defense vs. Buffalo or Cowboys defense vs. Washington?

In addition to this....

I have 4 RBs on my team and we play 2 per week.  They are Andre Ellington, Gio Bernard, Jerick McKinnon, and Lamar Miller.  I'm going to try to trade one of them for a good QB or receiver, but I don't know which.  Bernard is very good, but Cincy's offense isn't so hot right now.  Ellington seems to be turning it up, but he plays several good run defenses in the next few weeks and he had 2 goalline TDs taken away by Taylor.  I don't mind trading McKinnon since I just picked him up from waivers.  And Miller is arguably a #1 RB now with Moreno hurt.  Who should I trade and what should I try to get in return?

My current roster:

QB: Nick Foles, Carson Palmer

RB: the four listed above

WR: Dez Bryant, Odell Beckham, Wes Welker, Cordarrelle Patterson (I really want to trade him instead of just cutting him.  I invested something like a 5th round pick in him and I would hate to have to cut him, but he's doing nothing on my bench)

TE: Graham, Owen Daniels

Flex WR Spot:

Hakeem Nicks

Donte Moncrief

Brandon LaFell

Who do I start?!!

Have Jordy Nelson & Pierre Garcon at the 1 & 2 WR spots

Any suggestions?

I would go with LaFell.  Moncrief and Nicks are too inconsistent, even with Wayne possibly missing the next game.  LaFell has a clear role in the Pats' offense, though that hasn't really translated to results.  LaFell is most likely to get you consistent production, but Moncrief or Nicks could simply explode this one week and go for 100+ and a TD

Yeah, Lafell got me 5 points last week vs NYJ. The Bears defense is awful so I'm sure he should be Better this week

But then on the other hand if Reggie is out, someone other than Hilton is gonna have to catch and it could be Nick's

It really is dependant on who you are trying to target and if that person had a need for the position you're looking to give them. If you're looking for a top qb or rb, you'll have to trade off 2 people most likely and take 2 off of them. The one you want and a trash player.

Example:

I needed a rb and was looking to trade one of my TE (Thomas and bennet, 3 and 1 respectively in ppr league).

Found a guy who had no talent at TE and stacked at rb. So I asked for his rb (lynch), and Jared cook for my bennet and Shane vereen. I'm giving him 2 starters for 1. Which is fine because I have Thomas who can stay every week, I only needed his rb.

You really have to approach in that kind of mindset when trading. Noone will trade I'd it doesn't seem to benefit then more than you.

You don't need any help this week...you're going to kill me the way my teams been playing, and you're a 10 point favorite...my only hope is that Sanders gets more than J Thomas tonight, and that Hillman gets a couple TD's as well, to have any shot at beating you..

My Dilemma was starting either De'Andre Hopkins, or Malcolm Floyd..I went with Hopkins, only because of the match up..as I have to sit Beckham because of the bye..and Alfred Morris has been doing diddly all year for me..hopefully, oliver can get a great game against Denver tonight...

With your lineup..Peyton, J Thomas and Jordy Nelson will outscore my whole team..

Savor the win my friend..this will the easiest all year for you..

did I win or lose on this trade. I traded charles gronk and marshall for bryant nelson and dwayne allen

Right now is a pretty even trade.

http://m.fantasysp.com/mtrade/nfl/3086049/charles-marshall-gronkowski-bryant-nelson-allen

However, it's cause Charles had a few low games to stay the season. But it's not just about the points. You need to analyze your roster to make sure you can afford the trade. Do you still have 2 good rb to pay every week now that Charles is gone. The other two are basically switches. Gronk is like a wr so you got a 2 wr abs a te for 2 wr and a rb.

I have tate forsett and bradshaw so I didnt really need charles and I also have aj so I have three number one wrs and three consistent productive backs. gronk was basically having the same production as allen so he was expandable

Bradshaw and Forsett for sure have been. As long as you feel it had improved your roster for the better, then it was a good trade.

Yeah..but the football Gods were against me as well, as I have Hillman, and he got ripped out of at least 4 TD's...2 times giving the ball to the FB on a 1 yard runs after he did all the work..a 30 yard TD run, called back for holding, about a 30 yard run, where he barely stepped out at the 3 yard line...

but i'm not complaining..I'm glad Oliver got that junk 23 yard run at the end of the game to at least give me 6.3 points as he was stuffed all game

I've used 3 players and got 50.70 points.he's used only Peyton and Thomas, and still has 31.74 points...

Players remaining for me..

QB Brees vs GB

RB Morris Mon vs Dallas

WR Hopkins vs Tenn

TE Daniels vs Cincy..CORRECTION: Clay Mia vs Jax

K Bullock Houston vs Tenn

Buffalo Def vs NYJ

Players remaining for TK

WR J Nelson vs NO

WR Garcon Mon vs Dallas

RB Tate vs Oak

RB Helu Mon vs Dallas

Flex La Fell NE vs Da Bears

K Gostkowski NE vs Da Bears

Houston D vs Tenn

Its far from over and with my luck, I'll lose like I did last week...Benching Hillman for Spiller (who got hurt and I lost by less than 2 points) and Brees throwing that late INT to cost me 2 points as well..right now I"m at 3-4,with the lowest total points in the league for the year... and I should be 4-3

NOTE: Just found out Daniels is out indefinitely with a knee injury, so I have to play Heath Miller vs the Colts, and now pick up another TE....UGHHHH..I picked up Charles Clay from Miami vs Jax..going to start him instead of Miller..Colts D has been way too good lately to go against them..

What are your thoughts on this trade:

I receive: Brandon Marshall and Michael Floyd

I give away: Andre Ellington and Odell Beckham

My RBs right now are Gio, Ellington, Lamar Miller, and Jerick McKinnon.  Plus, given Ellington's schedule, he was the RB I was trying to get rid of the most out of that group.  I tried getting Stafford from the other guy, but he wanted

Have you looked at a trade analyzer yet? I mean If you want to bail on Ellington to get marshall, won't be to bad

I think I can add Floyd and Marshall to Dez and make my WR corps really strong.  In addition, since I have so many RBs and Ellington's schedule is the worst of the 4, I would want to get rid of him.  We only play 2 RBs a week, so having 4 wouldn't be that useful for me anyway.  I need a QB since I am currently rolling with Carson Palmer and Nick Foles.  I'm hoping Foles improves when his OL gets healthy, but I was also thinking Stafford could be a great buy low candidate right now.  Let Megatron and Reggie Bush get healthy, then he has a pretty easy schedule coming ahead

IMO:DON'T TRADE BECKHAM...He's already gotten 3 TD's in his only 2 games this year, and will be Eli's #1 rec shortly. Plus, if your league does return yards, he also returns punts. I was waiting to get him all year. Beckham in his 2 games has 1 rush for 13 yards, caught 10-15 targets for 106 yrds and 3 TD's, plus 20 return yards. I snatched him a week before he came back, to make sure I got him. He's the deep threat Eli hasn't had. Marshall is a great receiver, but he's been hurt off and on all year. Marshall the past 5 weeks has produced 0.60, 7.9, 4.4, 11.3, and 4.8 fantasy points...Plus, he's been targeted 56 times, catching only 31 for 349 yards and 5TD's

Marshall is a top 5 receiver when healthy, but he's also been starting a lot of locker room stuff, complaining about everything. I love Marshall, but there is so much upside with Beckham, especially with Cruz gone for the year. Marshall plays NE this week, than a bye..but then his schedule gets easier..

Its up to you, but I would try to give someone else away than Beckham..who has a relatively easy schedule the rest of the year..(his bye is this week)

Ultimately its up to you, but I'm seriously considering Beckham as my keeper for next year..he's that good...again, just my opinion..good luck in however you decide to go..

We also discussed the possibility of Ellington and Andrew Hawkins for Stafford and Michael Floyd.  Is that a better deal for me?  I don't get the WR1 in Marshall, but I get a buy low QB1 with Stafford.

Edit: He is willing to accept Ellington + Hawkins for 2 of Floyd, Stafford, or Marshall.  If I throw in Beckham, he will possibly do a 3 for 3.  What's the best possible scenario?

That sounds more feasible..

Advice: Largely quiet, Floyd did make his presence felt on a second-quarter 33-yard touchdown where he won in a contested situation against Raiders RCB Tarell Brown, out-muscling him for the catch en route to the end zone. Floyd's stat lines through three Carson Palmer starts are 5-119, 4-47-1, and 3-47-1. He'll be a WR2 with WR1 upside when the Cardinals take on the Eagles in Week 8.

Advice: He chipped in an eight-yard rushing attempt. Catch-less in Week 6, Hawkins bounced back for a big Sunday, leading Cleveland in receiving. He remains an every-week WR3 in PPR leagues, but leaves something to be desired in standard scoring at 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds. Hawkins and the Browns will take on the Raiders' weak defense next.

(Rotoworld.com)

I would take Floyd, and whatever you need more of..if you really need another QB, then Stafford, but he's been struggling with Megatron hurting....If you get both Floyd and Marshall, and The Bears decide to wake up and play ball like last year, then got Floyd and Marshall..

so I would go Ellington and Hawkins, for Floyd and either Marshall or Stafford, depending on what is your greatest need..Like I said.if the Bears start playing ball again..Marshall is a top 5 WR, that scores a lot of TD's, so I would probably lean that way., even with Alshon Jeffery on the other side.

Thanks!  I ended up going with Marshall and Floyd just because we play 3 WRs a week, plus a flex, so that's a more important spot than our 1 QB.  I can live with Palmer/Foles/streamers for a little while at QB.  Thanks for all the help!

Good morning! I need some quick insight. I read Shane Vareen missed practice on Friday due to illness. Will Bellchick hold him out or limit him in PPR? If so I have to fill in for my flex with Roddy White or M. Sanu. Any thoughts?

For what its worth...

Stafford or Cutler

Stafford plays in like an hour in England..not supposed to rain, but the trip may affect both teams...Stafford also has the better match-up against the Falcons, while the Bears play NE who has Revis..

Both haven't been playing well, but I think I'd go with Stafford against the Falcons..but its close...its your call on that one...

With Gio Bernard, Lamar Miller and Jerick McKinnon as my current RBs (and I'm thinking of picking up Charles Sims this upcoming week; the Bucs are apparently looking to trade Martin and Rainey hasn't been very effective as his backup.  Reports are that Sims could play a very big role).  That would leave me with a reliable RB1 in Lamar, a solid RB2 in McKinnon, and a third guy in Sims to rotate based on matchups.  Tampa and Minny both have some good matchups ahead, though Miami has a tough RB schedule coming up, while Cincy has a pretty good strength of schedule remaining for RBs too.  Should I trade Gio for a great QB or TE?  I'm currently rolling with Carson and Jimmy Graham at those positions.  Or is it better to keep Gio?  I like Gio and Hue Jackson gets the ball to his WRs, but he won't be that effective as long as AJ Green is out

I'd go with Gio as one of them.  Maybe Hillman for the 2nd one but I'm not as sure on that.

I'd watch to see if Davis is going to play, if Davis plays then I'd go with Garcon.  If not then maybe Beckham.  Vikings are a bad team so I think Garcon is the safer play regardless.  But Beckham could have a big day if he is going up against either Toler or Butler.

I wouldn't drop him for those two.  John Brown may be more important for the Cardinals in the future, but he's just their deep threat right now.  Boom or bust player, kind of like TY was for his first 2 years.  Sanu is going to be a whole lot less important once AJ Green comes back.  Especially with Cruz out Beckham is going to be important in the Giants O.
