Honestly I would drop Royal for 2 of those 3 on waivers. Matthews first and Stevie second. With Shorts coming back and Hurns making big plays, Robinson won't be as big of a factor most likely, even with Bortles. Keep your lineup the way it is. Good Luck!

Looks like royal blew up. I kept him on my roster. Unfortunately My wife had Matthew Stafford, Matt forte, jordy Nelson, and Fred Jackson. The first 3 scored more points than 6 of mine combined. She's got 115 to my 88 and i only have jamaal Charles left.

I have Eddie Lacy, Andre Ellington, Maurice Jones-Drew and Jerick McKinnon as the others RBs.

If Calvin is healthy, I'd do it. He's the best WR in the game and a big threat in FF. Your RB's can stand losing knowshon and hunter hasn't done much. Maclin is solid but you can fill in the other two spots with people close to Hunter's level of play. Pick up a RB and WR off Waivers and do the trade.

Jamaal Charles exploded, hopefully that was enough for a win. I know he got 3 tds.

Ya i was in the lead near the end but she had gronk who had that Super late td and that put her back over me at the end. So close. Beat her in the other league tho.

Question. Golden Tate or cordarelle Patterson this week?

I'd go with Tate.  Patterson hasn't been getting the ball and while they have found the ankle injury isn't serious, getting Bridgewater back on Thursday after being carted off on Sunday is really really fast.  So there is a good chance that Ponder starts.

Also Calvin Johnson was apparently slowed down by ankle injury last week.  If that's continued and he's still slow or out for some reason that bodes well for Tate to get more targets.

Ya i figured as much. How bout this, rivers vs jets or Stafford vs buffalo? My initial feeling was Stafford but rivers is tearing people up and is against a weak jets secondary.

If one is at home and the other is away I'd go with the home team all else being equal.

Another factor in that is the status of Calvin Johnson.  Stafford actually did well without using him too much last week, but in general I don't like Stafford as much with Megatron out of the game.

Tough call on that one really.  I'm starting Stafford in one of my leagues but I don't have Rivers as my backup I have Rothlisburger.

At this point I don't think either one is really a bad play.

pick one player

eddie royal vs jets

ben tate vs titans

brian quick vs eagles

pick one

eagles d vs rams

bengals d vs patriots

I'd take Royal vs. Jets and Eagles D vs. Rams

Bengals have a pretty good defense but I don't like them in this matchup.  Pats where embarrassed last week and I don't think they will let a defense destroy them like that 2 weeks in a row.

Should I drop Cousins and pick up Eli, given their upcoming schedule? My other quarterback is Nick Foles

Toss up on all 3 of those. All 3 are near interchangeable with foles maybe being at the top but if eli keeps it up then he is 2nd close behind and then cousins unless that was a fluke game for him.

I don't know their schedules but I don't like either one because they are both inconsistent.  So start Foles.

I would say yes to Eli though.  Cousins may lose his job when RG3 comes back and if he does then he's worthless in fantasy.

Eli is not likely to lose his job.

see im thinking that too, but the two games with the teams having a good pass rush fins and chiefs defense has got a lot of points

Maybe, but I don't like betting on a defense that's going against a team that is accustomed to winning and just got embarrassed last week.

Rams are on like their 3rd string QB.  I'd rather take the Philly defense in this one.

I hesitate to drop Cousins because of what he did in his first two games.  His Giants game was obviously brutal, but his other two games were very good performances.  I'm going to keep Foles just because he plays in such an explosive offense.  Their schedules are as follows:

Foles - Rams, Giants, bye, @Cardinals, @Texans, Panthers, @Packers, Titans, @Cowboys, Seahawks, Cowboys, @Redskins

Cousins - Seahawks, @Cardinals, Titans, @Cowboys, @Vikings, bye, Bucs, @49ers, @Colts, Rams, @Giants, Eagles

Eli - Falcons, @Eagles, @Cowboys, bye, Colts, @Seahawks, 49ers, Cowboys, @Jaguars, @Titans, Redskins, Rams

Need a waiver defense this week:

Eagles D vs. Rams

Steelers D at Jags

Lions D vs. Buffalo

Packers D vs. Vikings

Bears D at Panthers

I don't like Bears at Panthers.

The Vikings one depends heavily on the status of Bridgewater.  If he can't go then that would be the first one I would grab.  No Adrian Peterson with Christian Ponder at QB, it will be a small miracle if they don't get shut out.

But with the way Bridgewater played against the Falcons I wouldn't want the Packers D against that.

For me it's a tossup between Eagles and Steelers.

I wouldn't mess with Buffalo.  They are switching to Orton and Watkins can make plays.  They could suddenly become a much better team.

If you think Eli will still be available when/if RG3 comes back from injury then I'd be ok with hanging onto Cousins, I consider them about equal in terms of fantasy purposes.  Capable of posting great games and then following it up with complete stinkers.

But for the the tiebreaker comes in the fact that Cousins might lose his job to an inferior talent because the inferior talent was drafted in the first round.  Eli's not going to lose his job this season.

This is exactly my thought process. I am leaning towards the Eagles just due to their special teams.

Cousins has the easier later schedule while Eli has the better early schedule. But overall i think Eli has a better overall schedule

I'm playing in a new type of fantasy format, Single Game daily fantasy, the catch is that players have different scoring multipliers based on their past games. For example I'm trying to decide between Andrew Luck (who get 1x points for every touchdown) or Joe Flacco (who gets 2x per TD).

Any thoughts on who to start in a format like that? I'm leaning Flacco since the Colts have taken some hits on D lately

Help!

That's such a huge difference, you have to go with Flacco in that format. Luck could throw 4 tds and match Flacco if he got 2, but that's very extreme of a point format and I'd go with Flacco and the 2X td.

Not so bad a match up this week. But still some uncertainty.

Eli Manning vs atl or Newton vs bears.

Andrew Hawkins @tenn or E. Royal vs jets or L. Fitz @denver

R.White @giants or E. Royal vs jets. (Separate team)

Ride Eddie Royal in both teams there. I would also go with Eli against the Falcons. Yes, the Falcons are a tough pass defense, but Eli and the Giants are starting to gel, and Donnell and Cruz are really getting it together. I would trust Eli until proven otherwise. The Panthers look awful and I want nothing to do with them right now. Kelvin Benjamin is solid, but Kyle Fuller is on him probably, so nothing is certain there.

Valpo, thanks for taking over for all those questions, I really appreciate it. You guys listen to him and I'll be available most of the day today before the thursday game to answer fantasy questions.

Lesean McCoy vs. Rams

Khiry Robinson vs. Bucs

Donald Brown vs. Jets

Montee Ball vs. Cardinals

Go with Lesean McCoy as your first rb. I know he's been bad, but he's a top 3 pick for a reason and you can't sit him in this high powered eagles offense. Normally I'd say Ball as your 2nd rb, but the Cardinals are brutal against the run and I don't see him doing anything all day Sunday. As for the other 3, I would eliminate Forsett first as Taliaferro and Juscyvck are taking away carries and receptions from him now. There will be all kinds of a committee in Baltimore. The last two are tough to choose from, I'd probably go with Khiry Robinson as the safer option here. The Bucs are terrible and the Saints will have the ball all game while running and passing it. He has a solid shot at 100 yds and a td. He'll be able to run on the Bucs and he'll get lots of garbage time running down the clock on them as well. He should get 20+ carries to do damage with Ingram still out. Donald Brown is a featured back yes, but he is against a tough Jets D-Line and run defense. He also is in a situation where Rivers is passing out of his mind and they will probably pass for most of the game and only throw for tds like they've been doing. Go with McCoy and Robinson, and Good Luck!

Jason Witten is my starting TE and has not been getting many targets. I know that could change.

However, I am in an 8 team league... and Travis Kelce is available.

Would I be crazy to drop Donald Brown or Justin Forsett for him?

RBs that I have:

McCoy

Ball

Gio Bernard

Khiry Robinson

Mark Ingram

Justin Forsett

Donald Brown

With Witten as your TE, you might as well drop him and get Kelce.  You should get Kelce no matter what if you dont have another TE option other than Witten.  I have Kelce in one of my leagues and i had witten in another and dropped him.  Forsett is probably your best bet to drop, but DB isn't any better, I just know that the Ravens RB's are getting so much split time that Forsett isnt dependable.

Pick two...

Michael Floyd @ Denver

Brian Quick @ Philladelphia

Jerick McKinnon @ Green Bay

Floyd for sure.

The other two it's a tossup because I don't like their QB's unless Bridgewater plays.

If Bridgewater is playing then the second one is easily McKinnon.  But honestly if Bridgewater isn't playing then Quick is probably the safer bet.

Michael Floyd is a definite, he's an awesome receiver right now and should perform nicely Vs the Broncos. I would probably start quick at Philly over McKinnon. Quick has become the number 1 option on the Rams, and it's always a guess how much time McKinnon will get, especially in a game with Asiata starting and the Vikings playing from behind. Go with the WR's.

You just beat me to it. I'm assuming Bridgewater won't play or won't be at 100%, so I suggest quick with Floyd.
